TeamTALK has an exclusive report that both Aston Villa and Newcastle are after Derby County youngster Jayden Bogle.
The right-back has just turned nineteen last week and made 50 appearances for Derby under Frank Lampard last season. Derby’s new manager is former Dutch international midfielder Philip Cocu who will be hoping to keep hold of Bogle for this coming season.
The report says that Derby are prepared for bids to come in for their prized youngster who has risen through their academy. He also provided a very respectable nine assists from the right-back position last season.
Aston Villa have been very active this window and have Frederic Guilbert, Steve Bruce favorite Ahmed Elmohamady, and Micah Richards as right-back options. Newcastle are looking to add Emil Krafth from SC Amiens to join DeAndre Yedlin and Javier Manquillo as options.
Jayden Bogle– fantastic last season for Derby
We think this would be a terrific signing if Newcastle could bring Bogle in for around £10m. He seems to have a bright future and Steve Bruce recently said that the club has money set aside to build the U23s squad. Even bringing Bogle in and then loaning him back to Derby would make sense for both clubs.
We have also been linked with Inter Milan’s young striker Facundo Colidio who would also cost around £10m. He would also be an outstanding signing though most of the recent news of Colidio have him joining fellow Argentine Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds.
These are the types of links that really excite us. These two players have very bright futures and could be future stars. We hope that Newcastle do pursue both of these options and for a total outlay of £20m, it could be worth it.

Comment #1If he’s a Robertson style player get him on board. The modern full back is crucial

Comment #2Luke Shaw for example is an old school Gary Neville style full back. And he’s not good enough for the premiership

Comment #6I live just outside Derby and have a lot of mates who are Derby fans and they absolutely love this lad. Great engine, by no means the finished product but loads of potential – get him now.
