Yesterday Newcastle were reported to be interested in Bordeaux full-back Youssouf Sabaly. The reports came from France Football.
Today, French outlet Soccer Link are reporting that Newcastle have had a bid accepted for the 26-year-old full-back.

This tweet translates to:
The Girondins have accepted an offer from @NUFC for Youssouf Sabaly. Bordeaux also said yes to @Watford. The player, who has just returned from vacation, will now have to decide between the different proposals.
Sabaly would cost in the region of £10-15m and from this information, it appears that both Newcastle and Watford have had bids accepted for the Senegalese international. Now Sabaly will have to decide between the two clubs.
This is similar to the news yesterday that Lille midfielder Thiago Maia will make a decision today between Genoa and Newcastle at some point today.
Youssouf Sabaly– to decide between Watford and Newcastle
Sabaly is naturally right-footed but currently plays on the left internationally for Senegal as Moussa Wague from Barcelona has cemented the position on the right.
Sabaly has also made over 80 appearances at left-back domestically. He would provide good cover for the left wing-back position if brought in. However, he would be brought in as Newcastle’s first-choice right wing-back.
Soccer Link also reported yesterday that Newcastle had agreed to terms and had a bid accepted for Emil Krafth of SC Amiens.

Emil Krafth s'est mis d'accord contractuellement avec @NUFC. Le club anglais a formulé une seconde offre qui aurait convaincu @AmiensSC. https://t.co/mEHvoe6U3W pic.twitter.com/jAdGlymfiS

This tweet translates to:
Emil Krafth has contractually agreed with Newcastle. The English club made a second offer that would have convinced Amiens.
We are not sure which of these reports are true as Newcastle would probably not bring in both players. They could, however, have an interest in both players and still have multiple bids in as an insurance in case a deal for their first choice target falls through.
Of the two, we would prefer Youssouf Sabaly from Bordeaux as he would clearly strengthen the position while Emil Krafth, who is a solid player, may not be too much better than DeAndre Yedlin or Javier Manquillo. Though the Swede would offer something different than our two current right-backs.
We would expect to hear more on both of these players over the coming days as this transfer window draws nearer to an end.

Comment #1I don’t recall seeing this lad play only in the World Cup in 2018. Thought he was decent like but you apparently don’t judge a player on World Cup performances.

Comment #5To Boycott or not to boycott that is the question.
Whether to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous Ashley or step forth once more unto the breach.

Comment #7Great if we get a couple of defenders in but we still need another goalscorer. Goals win games and I think Gayle will be off despite what Bruce is saying

Comment #17Newcastle have had an offer accepted by Bordeaux for defender Youssouf Sabaly.
According to French outlet Soccer Link, cited by Inside Futbol, the Magpies, along with fellow Premier League side Watford, have both had bids accepted for the Senegal international.
The player, who has made over 100 appearances for Bordeaux during his three-year stint with the Ligue 1 side, will now decide as to who he wants to join, with the deadline set to close on Thursday for English clubs.
