Andy Carroll To Newcastle Is A Done Deal – Big Andy Has Confirmed He Is Coming Home!

Local reports have that the Andy Carroll return to Newcastle United has been completed. It was also a deal that they had to get done today due to a Premier League rule that clubs cannot leave a squad spot open for a free agent if they have available senior members on the books.

Mark Douglas has responded to a question from a fan about an earlier statement of his that Andy Carroll has turned down bigger deals to return to his hometown club.

Andy Carroll has just tweeted this out as well.

This is a wonderful move by the club and shows that Andy Carroll wanted to come back home.

    I Love Andy Carroll.
Will be Dynamite if he gets injury free.

Carroll deal just confirmed on sky. Stage managed to be announced just before transfer deadline to look like the club have pulled off a coup.
Quite clearly it was all agreed before he left London and although this may sound cynical and negative, I’m sick along with many others of the pathetic attempts by the club’s PR to manipulate the loyal fans of this club.

Delighted big Andy is on his way back. Even if he only plays as an impact player in the last fifteen minutes, he’ll give us a whole different dimension to our play.

Stay fit, big fella. Legendary status awaits you if you do.

The two signings are as limp as you.

    They’re a joke, like you.

Not fit for purpose, like you.

I said we’d sign no one, we may aswell not have, waste of 2 squad players, take plenty Kleenex to the match to stop your mascara running.

    Jib

Nolan the bloke that said Ashley had done a great job and he was a all round good guy.

Carrols mate, the mate who put a arm round Carrol after he punched a lass in the mouth. Seems a decent sort.

Jib – what are you on about – we’ve signed a crock so what – just because he’s a geordie doesn’t make it a good deal …

Can’t blame Carroll, I hope he does well but his goals scored record since he left the toon is probably on par with Joselu

I think overall this has been a 7.5/10 window.

    Not great but very decent.

We’ve added two full backs, two strong pacey forwards to add to speed merchant Al and a risky but potentially cracking signing in AC.

Plus, Les Mibs were all wrong predicting one of our top players would be sold to balance the books.

Add in 3 wins out of 4 in Bruce’s preseason, including 2 for Jo, an attacking 3-5-2 formation and the players seemingly happy with the new management team I don’t see any reason not to look forward to the new season.

How it actually pans out is just guesswork…

But, for now, I can’t wait for Sunday.

    HWTL.

I wish him all the best as far as staying fit and smacking them into the net. He’s an extra body in the squad. It’ll be interesting to see the finalised squad now that the window is officially closed.

We spent about 30 ish net ?

    PR all over Sky, hilarious.

Steve Bruce happiest man in Britain.

    Hahahahahahaha.

    Bruce didn’t want him.

Haha some of you guys are so funny. Its an absolute fine signing for a third striker, good feelings home grown player.

This has been a better window than most of us thought 4 weeks ago. Go whinge somewhere else if you can never actually discuss the football or say anything positive.

Lets see how these first 10 games go before deciding on whether our new players are up to the task. Annoying we didnt spend the whole kitty but hopefully leaves some room in January for a couple of signings

My biggest relief of the day is keeping a hold of Longstaff. Unless some European club comes in for him. I wouldn’t put it past Ashley to cash in if some of that sweet, sweet European cash comes his way…

We have top players?? no bids from any other prem club for anyone in our squad says that they aren’t top players …

I’m predicting 14th this season – think Palace, Sheff Utd and Brighton will go down – think it will be close though and between 14th and 18th will be very tight

The fans will be flocking back to watch a player who averages 6 games a season and about two goals a season. Not good enough for West ham but brilliant for us.

By the way, why isn’t anyone on here asking the question ‘where’s the money gone?’ It’s a really important question and someone here needs to be asking it all day, every day, without any respite. Will anyone take on this very vital task?
