Issac Hayden has revealed that it was the emotion he felt after the away game at Fulham to close the season that started to change his mind about leaving Newcastle United.
? In an exclusive interview, @IsaacHayden65 has told NUFC TV why he has stayed at St. James' Park – and the role that the Newcastle supporters played in his decision.

It is excellent news that Isaac Hayden has decided to stay at Newcastle. In this interview, he has said that he is feeling more stable at Newcastle and feels it is going in the right direction. He has also credited Steve Bruce with coming in and bringing stability to the club after the uncertainty with Rafa Benitez’s departure.
This is a massive boost for the club to keep Isaac Hayden at Newcastle. It also looks like we will have no significant first-team players leave this summer. There are foreign windows still open but we don’t think Newcastle will allow anyone to leave since they will be unable to get a replacement.
Incidentally, Jacob Murphy has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season. We wish Jacob all the best and hope he can have a tremendous season at Hillsborough.
Winger Jacob Murphy has joined @swfc on loan until the end of the season. Good luck, @JacobMurphy95!

Pogba, 23, has signed a five-year contract with the option of a sixth season after United agreed to pay the Italian champions €105million (£89m) over the course of two years.

In that sum can you point to where his wages are ?

Comment #83There’s been a couple of decent signings amongst our rivals too.
Aaron Mooy to Brighton is a great signing for them, giving them way more threat up front.
Similarly Danny Drinkwater to Burnley is a very good signing. He was as good as anyone in that Leicester team which won the League.

Comment #87Welcome back Andy. And good on you Hayden! I think I would be satisfied if Andy could score at least 5 or 6 goals in 15 -20 appearances as long as Joe can shoulder most of the scoring and gets help from Maximini, Longstaffe, and Miggy as well, with Gayle chipping in another 6-10. Let’s see what actually happens though. I’m not counting wor chickens yet.

Man utd are a powerhouse and no1 or no2 richest club in the world, they dont use a business model like we do and you ask there fans they’ve had 4 really poor windows.
Pogba for 85m has been a disaster, so instead of pointing to what suits your argument how about you have a sensible debate.
Would you rather all the money was spent like fulham for example, and then have nothing left to spend in winter if in bother in Jan, or would you rather wait to get your no1 targets?
I’m happy we’ve not spent for the sale of it and bought in a Riviere type to appease the likes of you.
I cant stand Ashley and will stay away he is gone, but I can swallow my pride and be balanced enough to say this has been a good window, albeit through gritted teeth!!

You know and I know, as he told us a hundred times, it wasn’t the budget it was thee manner it was spent. Imagine, having scouted a reasonably priced player and after having spoke to him and his agent, have Lee Churnley make excuses to bring in the cheaper options, don’t deny this is happening because it’s being going on since KK, unless of course you don’t believe him either,we could have had Rondon and another striker for 40M, a fit one, but Mikey likes the horse trading players bring at the clubs expense.

According to Sky Sports, Aston Villa are close to completing the signing of winger Mahmoud Hassan from Turkish club Kasimpasa for a fee of £8.5million, plus add-ons

Comment #97If all this money was being spent with a coherent plan to see us grow then I would be getting excited about it. If an owner had serious intent on building the club he wouldn’t have to show fake drawings for training complexes and failing that go so far down the managerial ladder where he could find a manager who didn’t give a foot what the facilities or conditions of work were like.

You are right about Rondon and Perez. They only came alive in the second half of the season and especially when Almiron joined them.
Pundits appear to base their predictions for this forthcoming season on what they saw in the second half of the season.
The first game of last season started with the useless Kenedy and equally useless Joselu alongside Perez. There was no Fernandez or Schaar. And Ritchie was on the right.
We are going into this new season with a tried and tested formation with players in midfield and defence comfortable in their positions thanks to Benitez but with Joelinton and Almiron who are head and shoulders above Kenedy and Joselu.
I think we might surprise a few.

I know he left for reasons beyond transfer budget but he still knew he would have money to spend this window. He’s left and for the better in my opinion cos he he stayed it would be harder to get fans to unite to get ashley out.
Good memories but let’s concentrate on getting the main problem out of the club now.
Having said all that it’s hard to argue that its not been a good window for us

Comment #108What I have noticed this window is how many clubs appear to have various levels of player discontent in their ranks. ManU, Chelsea and Palace spring to mind.
This seems in total contrast to our players who all seem very focused on their jobs.

Comment #112I’m sorry but I don’t believe Hayden. If it was important for him to move back to the the SW to be closer to his partner and child ( who presumably didn’t want to live the life of luxury up in the frozen NE) then its still important ?
I think Hayden found out that no one of any substance wanted him unless you’re including Brighton, Bournemouth or Palace ?
Personally the lad needs to recognise his level and sadly that level ( in an Ashley era) is a 2nd rate big club. ?
