Norwich City Will Be Forced To Field Depleted Squad On Saturday

Tomorrow’s match at Norwich City is a premium opportunity for Newcastle United to get their first win of the season. There is no better time to play the Canaries who have the following players unavailable for the match through injury.

Norwich will be down two central defenders in Timm Klose and Christoph Zimmermann. It looks like they will again have to rely on former Newcastle United defender Grant Hanley and 21-year-old Ben Godfrey as the centre-back partnership.

This is the perfect time for both Joelinton and Miguel Almiron to get their first goals for the club. If Allan Saint-Maximin is declared fit from a tight hamstring, he could also be primed to score if he is brought on.

However it Allan cannot be risked, we think Yoshinori Muto could also come in and cause the Norwich backline problems.

If they field the same back four as last week, it will be very inexperienced with only Grant Hanley, at 27, being over the age of 21.

The Norwich full-backs are very talented and like to attack. Max Aarons is a top right-back prospect at just 19 and is also the cousin of Newcastle’s Rolando. Jamal Lewis is an academy product at left-back and is only 21.

We hope to see an exciting match tomorrow. Newcastle will still have to be disciplined at the back as Norwich are a very talented side going forward. They will be very suspect at the back, and Newcastle’s forwards must take advantage of that.

Someone in the midfield has to really step forward and lead this season. Who is it going to be?

Nicky is not just a balltosser. No. He’s wise in the ways of footy. I think of him as a young, up and coming Essex Geordie Bill…..

Robleenion – On a campsite in France, just seen a bloke in Speedos with a massive beer gut and skinny little legs sorting out the satellite dishes for three different caravans. Jib?

    Take that mirror away Robleenio….

    You thought the leaden winter
    Would bring you down forever
But you rode upon a steamer
To the violence of the sun
And the colors of the sea
Blind your eyes with trembling mermaids
And you touch the distant beaches
    With tales of brave Ulysses
How his naked ears were tortured
    By the sirens sweetly singing
For the sparkling waves are calling you
To touch their white laced lips
And you see a girl?s brown body
    Dancing through the turquoise
And her footprints make you follow
Where the sky loves the sea
And when your fingers find her
She drowns you in her body
    Carving deep blue ripples
In the tissues of your mind
    The tiny purple fishes
    Run laughing through your fingers
And you want to take her with you
To the hard land of the winter

    GeordieTwo,

If we beat Norwich the doomsters will say it was only because they had a weak team out…

If they win, Bruceiis a dinosaur.

Life is great when you are a doomster and you are always right.

Not at all Bills. I will be worried about Bruce no matter what the result is against Norwich. He’s not the way forward for the club in my view. A huge backward step by a backward owner and his pathetic minions.

Bills take a look at this

    https://www.themag.co.uk/2019/07/steve-bruce-premier-league-stats-compared-to-previous-newcastle-united-managers-oh-dear/

    Played 392
    Points/game 1.12
    For/game 1.03
    Against/game 1.31

His stats show that hes the worst manager we have had under Jabba
Can you explain why you are so optimistic about him ?
Maybe point to what you believe everyone has missed for all those years about the traitor ?

As your in a very small group indeed who think hes anything other than a total nightmare as a manager

Yes he has only had 1 game so far but what did you see thats so encouraging ?
I didnt see anything that suggests anything of the sort

Yeah, Carroll’s fitness is likely to be critical. We’ll very probably need that bit of quality and experience. A front three of Joelinton, Carroll and Almiron, with what we can field behind them, looks at face value upper mid table.

Obviously very risky though to go into an EPL season with a first choice group of forwards like the very inexperienced Joelinton, St Max and Almiron, and the often injured Andy Carroll, under Steve Bruce.

Silly really. Rafa wouldn’t have had it.

We pinning our hopes on Carrol ?
He was injured the whole of last season, didnt play a game
So not only does he need to recover from his injury, and get fit. He also needs to find good enough form to score us about 16 goal

Thats assuming he stays fit, looking at the last 5 years it seems highly unlikely

What we are being asked to believe is all highly unlikely

The traitor is a good manager and deserves us to give him a chance, lets ignore the last near 400 games
AC will get fit and lead the team up the table with commanding performances
Rafa left due to his greed, with the club doing all it could to keep him
The traitor has full control of player transfers
The club has/is investing in the infrastructure, which is comparable to other prem clubs
We spent every penny the club receives on the club
The accounts are whiter than white

    The list goes on

Were supposed to believe all of this ?

In the mornin’ you go gunnin’ for the man who stole your water
And you fire till he is done in but they catch you at the border
And the mourners are all singin’ as they drag you by your feet
But the hangman isn’t hangin’ and they put you on the street
You go back, Jack, do it again, wheels turinin’ ’round and ’round
You go back, Jack, do it again
