Steve Bruce has announced his starting eleven for the today’s big match at Carrow Road.

As was reported earlier, Sean Longstaff is not in the first eleven but will be on the bench. The very experienced Ki Sung-yueng comes in for Sean in the midfield three alongside Isaac Hayden and Jonjo Shelvey.
Emil Krafth also comes in to make his debut at right wing-back with Javier Manquillo moving to the bench.
The rest of the team remains unchanged though Allan Saint-Maximin’s hamstring injury will not be risked as he is not in the team today.
This is the Norwich team that the lads will face this afternoon. It’s great to see Tim Krul back in the Premier League where he belongs.

Comment #162It’s as if Norwich have 20 men on the pitch, totally outclassed. Shocking.

Comment #163JoeBlow has been awful. Misses a sitter – BUT ONE striker ?????
All except Hayden have looked shit.
Get a cheap manager in – mas we kleep getting with Ashley and his Igor Charnley – and you’re relegation fodder.
We’ll be down even earlier this time.
Norwich will drop with us. And hopefully Aston Villa

Comment #166Look at Shelvye doing that thing where he walks to a standstill when the ball is within 10 yards of him, bends over and sort of just watches the play.
He’s definitely enjoying Bruce’s more lackadaisical training sessions and cushy approach.
Back to his lazy habits already.

Comment #167In a squad of 22 outfield players, why do we need six mediocre full backs when we only play two. The money would have been better spent towards Bowen or Wilson.

Maybe we’re not playing to his strengths. Messi would struggle to score without the right service.

Comment #173Krafth was actually looking okay. Hope that doesn’t force him off.
If we have to rely on Almiron and Joelinton to get the goals we are as good as down.

Comment #175All this negativity is bad for the team ? like being positive is gonna help, i hope we lose every game, then i hope we lose every game next season too, we need to drop 2 divisions and start over
If fans wont boycott the only way fatso is going anywer is if his advertising board is hid away with no one 2 c

Comment #176Joelinton isn’t a Rondon replacement he’s a shite version of Gayle. Can’t hold the ball, bring anyone into play, missed a sitter all he does is give the ball away.
Almiron playing as if there are no other team mates around fcuk we are so bad.

Comment #180Get Muto on for Shelvey. Ritchie back to his RWF role and go 4-2-3-1. Dummett back in his best LB role.
With Ritchie, Almiron and Muto high up the pitch we can press high with energy.
We’re completely lacking any vigour.
Hurry up Andy!

Comment #181Thing is Rafa would have had us sitting back against Norwich but they wouldn’t be cutting through us and we would then be cutting them apart on the counter attack on a stroll to a comfortable victory by 1 or 2 goals if we don’t pick it up 2nd half Norwich could easily turn us over by another few goals they know we don’t have anything on the bench to change it properly!
I actually think we should move Joellinton wide right , Almiron wide left and put Muto straight up front as there is no width and actually think it would suit the Brazillian’s game more because he wants the ball to feet and some time to do something with it not going to get that up front

Comment #183Dont usually like to jump on the managers back, but wtf is Bruce telling them? We look lost and have one means of attack cross the ball and hope for the best when all we have is Linton in the box…starting to doubt Bruce has any tactical no how atall

Comment #184Shelvey is bloody useless. My 90 year old can move faster. Almiron should be on the left not thru the middle. Ritchie on the right. Formation is just wrong. So glad I didn’t renew my season ticket.

Comment #185Didn’t everyone say that Norwich’s danger man was called Pukki ?
A good tactic would have been to stand on his toes all game and maybe not given him any space.
Bruce knew that didn’t he ?
Didn’t he ?
Not to worry he can bring some strikers off the bench to turn the score round.

Comment #186Almiron is crying out to play with someone who has good movement. He must be thinking why did I move from MLS when he had Martinez alongside him. Should av just bought him in to be honest.

Comment #188Pretty much as I expected and said a few days ago.
Norwich are hungry well organised and all over us.
The formation is no good for us, Almiron is wasted and Joelinton is isolated with the midfield chasing shadows.
Norwich are in full control, deserve their lead and should probably be 2 up.
Mass improvement needed in 2nd half or Norwich will cruise to a easy win.

Comment #191I’ve said it for Years don’t expect to much from our squad they’re not strong enough.
As every season under Ashley survival will be classed as a very successful season.
I always expect us to loose because we usually do. It was a ongoing struggle for Rafa and will be this season.

Comment #192When are we going to turn up. Is Ki playing? Enough to make you Puk ! Passing again none existent . Overrun all over the field. £60M for Joelinton & Almiron what a waste of money. They lose the ball every time they are given it.

Comment #196Almiron looses ball way too easily. Joelinton should have scored. Any striker who has been brought in for 35m or more scores these kind of chances. This guy is reminds me of Reviere. Joelinton’s link up play is also not up to the mark. Ki is absolutely nowhere to be seen.
Ki should be substituted on for Muto.
Well, if we can’t even beat norwich’s defence is way worse than us, but yet we could not even test them. This shows the quality of our team. With this quality we definately have to go down. Otherwise justice won’t be done.
These players and managers clearly resembles steve mclaren and his team which went down. We are bound to go down. Worst !!!

Comment #197Shelvey has been awful along with Joelinton. Shelvey just stands and watches the game go by. He has absolutely no defensive positioning whatsoever. He’s a liability and should have sold.
Can understand why rafa never used him.
