French Club Director Gives Some Insight To New Defender

Newcastle United announced the signing of free agent French defender Ludwig Francillette this past Monday.

The 20-year-old has joined Neil Redfearn’s U23 side and had this to say upon his arrival:

“I’m very happy to be here. It’s an honour to sign with this club because we know the story with French players playing for Newcastle, and the fans, and I’m very happy to sign. I hope everything will be good.

“It’s a Premier League, a big club in the Premier League, which is the best league. I have seen a lot of games. I like the club, and I like the city too.

“The fans love the club and the fervour. If I give 100 per cent, the fans will give 110 per cent. I enjoy the proximity of the fans to the club.

“I want to progress in training, work hard, and focus now.”

There is not too much known about Francillette. Upon the confirmation of him signing for Newcastle, AS Quetigny issued the following statement about their former academy player.

“It proves the quality of the training that senior U6 players can receive from all our educators and coaches.

“We are proud to be a family club that can also be a trainer in pre and post-training.

“We would like to thank the Dijon Football Côte D’or, its general manager Mr. Olivier Cloarec and Mr Sébastien Degrange, director of the training center, and through them the coaches of the DFCO who have progressed Ludwig during his year at home.

“A mention for Fontaine-lès-Dijon club in which Ludwig has evolved.”

Francillete had played for AS Quetigny reserve team in 2018. Quetigny is located just outside Dijon and play in the sixth tier of French Football.

Ludwig Francillette– holding the shirt at St James Park

AS Quetigny director Alexandre Lebrerogovitz spoke to the Chronicle recently, and had this to say about Francillette:

“He quickly established himself as a first-team and never left his place again. I remember last game of the season where he made a very strong impression on everyone, he was already starting to evolve.”

“It means the world, but he deserves it. He is someone calm and reserved but above all, very hardworking. He cares little about what’s going on around him, he’s always focused on his goals.

“It is always difficult to predict the success of a player, especially in the 6th division. But we felt that Ludwig had a pretty strong potential and his current success does not surprise me.

“We are very proud to see that we have contributed to the formation of a player and believe that he can evolve to the best level. It is a great pride for his coaches as well as for the club. I think Ludwig can succeed and flourish in Newcastle.”

Ludwig did not participate in yesterday’s 0-4 loss to Manchester United for the U23s. The team really need Francillette’s help as they have lost all three games and have a goal difference -11.

It would be quite the journey if Ludwig can ever get to the Newcastle first-team. He has a few fans in France who will surely be pulling for him.

Our beloved club has been taking over by cockney politics. We need ppl like Chopra to stand up and speak out. Otherwise nobody will speak and everybody will start accepting any crap we’re given. Just like mediocre managers and scrapping relegation. Never change Chopra, use your voice, it encourages the rest of us to stand UNITED!

Shame that kid is being brought into the club with the sole intention of his resale value
    Without caring about the football

So, when Ritchie with umpteen games for us speaks about the club he is automatically discredited…

And when the morally bankrupt player with 21 appearances Chopra speaks we should automatically give him credit.

That rationale could only come from naysayers like Bleatin n Bruced.

Any body who gives Bruce any credit is a dullard at best and a traitor at worst…

But any one who slags him off is ‘one of us’.

    Oh the shame.

    The shame.

    Poor kid.

Fancy the club buying players who they think might get better.

    The shame of it.

“So, when Ritchie with umpteen games for us speaks about the club he is automatically discredited…”

What a great point! There is obviously no difference between an ex-player and a player currently employed by the club.

    Bills son is back

It’s not about how many games Chopra or Ritchie has played for us. It’s about what they say.

One is standing for his beliefs and all of ours, the other is crediting the dictator who hates us as much as we hate him.

None of us fans have ever played for Newcastle, does that mean our opinion doesn’t count. Chopra for prime minister!!

    Shadow Shearer.

Spot on that pressure must continue on the cockney takeover of NUFC.
Chopra’s comments however have taken pressure off the cockney and put it onto the manager.
Ashley won’t mind that at all.

Bowen gets another goal for Hull.

Considering he is laying in an average Championship team and his record is better than Perez’ was in the Championship at roughly the same age, it’s a real mystery how he is still there. Clearly not a couple of fluke seasons. Would have been the perfect Perez replacement for us given how similar their styles of play.

As it stands we are now last in the league..

Get used to it lads.. That is where we will stay for the rest of the season.

BY GOD i dont understand how alot of people cannot see that something is VERY wrong at this club.

We ought to be fighting for top 7-8 every season, with the money beeing generated.. But looky looky.. LAST SPOT in the league, and that is as good as it gets.

Ashamed to be a Newcastle fan, with alot of you sheep supporting that fat Fcuk, stealing from our club.

    GETTING SICK of it

The point is not how many times you’ve played for the club or whether you’ve played at all.

The point is the doomsters automatically discredit any opinion that doesn’t agree with theirs and praise the tits off anybody, player or not, who does.

Some of us prefer to judge each opinion on its merits and take a view from there.

    In the normal world,

That’s what most most reasonable people do.

    Bills Son…

You dont bite the hand that feeds you..

    Simple as that!

Thats why Ritchie says what he says.

There cannot be anyone in their right mind, that really think everything is going perfectly at this club. Only retarded people could have that oppinion.

In the meantime, Sunderland will have been sold three times once this change of control goes through.

In May 2009, Ellis Short completed taking ownership of the Wearside club.

Then in April 2018, Short sold the club to Stewart Donald and his mate Methven.

Now in August 2019, the latest change of ownership is on its way through.

Anybody who honestly believes Mike Ashley has ever been willing to sell Newcastle United should give their head a shake.

Yes, you might say Sunderland is a cheaper buy than Newcastle United.

However, that is not the point.

If something is genuinely up for sale and priced to sell, it will get sold.

Simple fact is that, including this summer, Mike Ashley has had no intention of selling.
