I was merely pointing out that some people were misrepresenting what the wife said.

However… If you think nobody, anywhere, ever does anything you might find unfathomable, you’re most definitely wrong.

You’re the one acting like you know the definitive truth. Not me.

Somebody has been stealing my posts again 😀
Seriously I’m surprised they can afford his wages but maybe we’re still paying a proportion of them. When do Wycombe play the makems? 😉

Just a reminder, if not totally correct digitally. Most of the money the club supposedly owe the owner is due to the bank loan that the previous owner took out. MA payed it off to remove the burxen of interest, however the amount was budgetted to be completely repaid within 4 years.

At present the debt to the owner has not been cleared and actually increased due to the reduced revenue when the club was relegated twice. A fundamental divergence from the previous owner who utilised the debt to maintain the highest possible incoming revenue.

This is despite the the club declaring that the stadium advertising was in lue of interest payments on the debt and in addition to the club paying SD for storage of shirts etc. It has been calculated that if SD actually paid a reasonable rate for advertising, the debt to the owner would no longer exist and consequently the price of the club to any potential new buyer could be justifiably be lower than currently reported.

Just to clarify what you said earlier re: 2015 accounts

The differeence between operating profit and total profit is the effect of player trading.
So the numbers you quoted are nothing more than the fact that we made a sizable profit on selling players that year.
