Watford have parted ways with Javi Gracia today as he becomes the first manager sacked this season. Gracia was appointed in January 2018 when he replaced Everton’s current manager Marco Silva.
Watford have returned to a familiar face to succeed Gracia in former coach Quique Sanchez Flores.

— Watford Football Club (@WatfordFC) September 7, 2019
Sanchez Flores returns to Vicarage Road where he was manager in 2015-16 upon their promotion to the Premier League. The Spaniard was surprisingly sacked following that season despite finishing in 13th position with 45 points.
This is the tenth time in the past eight seasons that Watford have made a coaching change.
The Telegraph had reported in early July that Newcastle were considering Quique Sanchez Flores to replace Rafa Benitez. However, if true, it does not appear that the 54-year-old was high on the list.

I didn’t state the clauses and agreements in the contract were standard business practice. You are confusing different aspects of what I was saying the other night.
If you go back, you would see that I say, regarding the clause, that the people most at fault on the legal case surrounding the shirts are the current Rangers board. Firstly for being at best, naive in signing the contract with the clause in. Secondly, for illegally breaching the terms of the contract.
The standard business practice referred to the wider issues you raised in the discussion, as you probably well know.

Yes it legal, just like how those few clubs recently almost went to the wall
All nice and legal
Its also why parliament is acting to curb such under hand behavior and protect fans from people just like Jabba
The very same day said legislation is passed i will be contacting my local MP requesting they do something about him
If youve read the gubbins about it youll see they intend to do a forensic investigation of owners who are suspect
Im betting the HMRC will be involved
As you can imagine i simply cant wait

Comment #4Lil you will be deemed a shill if you continue in that vein. However with some of the less shouty, more considered blog members, you will be in good company. If you want to then become a non shill, just repeat every hour that ashley needs to die slowly and painfully.

To contact a local MP “Chi Onwurah ”
And ask her to act upon legislation
Jabba might want to squirm his way out of it but it will be all nice and legal

Comment #11“I am aware that the majority of football club owners are committed and passionate about their clubs. They recognise that fans are the pulse that keeps football clubs alive. However, too many clubs are being driven to the ground with no mechanism in place for fans to flag up misconduct.”
“The Football Supporters Association’ have highlighted that this is not an isolated issue, it is happening across the country. Dedicated fans watch helplessly as their treasured clubs crumble from lack of investment or financial exploitation by dodgy owners.”

Comment #18The paranoia reference is more about shillery and PR than any govt investigation. Anything that frees us of ashley is good but I dont think much will become of it. We need an aggressive buyer with lots of cash. Thats the answer in the real world I think.

Comment #25Now now Munster as we all know the bit about you not being “bovvered” can’t be true as you are the blogs tireless pedant clod at pursuing Rafa’s critique relentlessly and without restraint.
I think you can spare a word or three to explain exactly why you think I should be attired with “Tarquin”. I’ll give you a head start and explain that I picture you as the pin-legged outsize oaf Felonious from Shrek as he, like you, is a walnut-brained, wit-free slackjaw with more digits on one hand than he can account for. That’s not so hard, is it? Now, your turn, old prune. 😉

Comment #26Plus I don’t think anyone can believe that you, the tireless hero-worshipping fan who knuckle-sprinted on a nail-bed trolley with headphones taped to his head playing Milli Vanilli hits on repeat and with a swarm of wasps encapsulated in rubber underpants for two thousand miles of arid desert just to grip the gnarled midget withered hand of his hero Sr. Benitez can’t be arsked to spit out a grudging explanation for the Tarquin “gag”. Go on – you know you want to!

To be fair he was taunting you for a response and you did respond (that’s not a criticism BTW, I would have done the same thing no doubt)
Anyway, I don’t really want to get in the middle of a long standing spat. I’ll stand on the sidelines and remain neutral (boring, I know….but i think you can take care of yourself)

Comment #36NY yes after a few years of abuse from a bunch of guys on here yes I still stick to the principle I have outlined. As for Tarky its not taunting. Not to me anyway. Its just a conversation . I’ve no issue with his colourful attacks. Immune through self conviction and through being used to it. Tarquin is still confused about why he is now being referred to as Tarquin. Which is nice. If a bit dim. Tim nice but Dim ! Crikey, another name for Tsunki. Anyway bed calls. Enjoy the night shift, always good people on that. By and large 🙂
