Former Newcastle Striker Joins On-Loan Defender In Italy

Former Newcastle striker Emmanuel Riviere has joined Serie B club Cosenza as a free agent.

Riviere was released from FC Metz this summer after spending the past two seasons with the French club. Metz were promoted back to Ligue 1 this year after being relegated the season before.

Riviere joins Achraf Lazaar at the Italian club. Lazaar it on a season-long loan with Cosenza. Riviere’s deal is also for only this season.

The Frenchman joined Newcastle in the summer of 2014 but made only 31 appearances until his loan move to Spanish club Osasuna in 2016. While on loan in La Liga, Riviere failed to score a goal. He was only able to manage 3 goals in his time while at Newcastle.

He left to join FC Metz in 2017 where he fared a little better scoring 9 goals in 47 total appearances. Riviere has been a big disappointment since leaving Monaco where he scored 17 goals in 50 appearances before his transfer to Newcastle.

    Areet lads,

In a bit of a situation here and there is a right mess in terms of how I’m getting there on Saturday.

Long story short, I do not feel 100% confident travelling down with my original group now. Anyone know how to book up the back page travel or any other type of travel instead?

    Much appreciated in advance.

It doesn’t get better than this, sat around for the last three days with no permits and now the cricket is back on, only marred by not making Moanster’s marginal manifest 😮

Muto should play ahead of Miggy, no point risking injury against Pool. Bring him on with 20 to go if there is a point to take

Genj I’d like to agree but all I saw were a handful of people saying we want Ashley out or something. Lasted a couple of seconds. Every little helps etc and fair play , but it wasnt exactly Singapore.

Keeps message out there, plus other groups unrelated to us have made the news recently protesting outside his other stores.
Our lads got face to face with ashley yesterday.
    Looked him eye to eye.
He knows we are going to be where ever he will be.
The AGM was a shambles yesterday for a billion pound company.

Your lack of passion or interest in Nufc is reflected in your sons choice to support Liverpool.

A month after the BZG statement you were asking people for proof BZG had said X Y or Z. All the proof of what theyd said was in the statements, you blatantly hadn’t read them otherwise there would be no need for you to ask for proof.

I’ve lost count of the amount of times you’ve came on here asking this and that despite the blog talking about it for days and several links posted on the subject.

You don’t read the blog or any links, you know naff all about the club you claim to support apart from a cpl songs from the 80s.

Your here to disrupt, you’re a wum.

You’re laughable a poor mans jib or a knock off Welshgeordie. You make John Carver look like a football genius.

Pathetic isn’t it when you have to bust a gut to denounce fellow fans doing their bit to protest against Ashley. Not even anti boycott. Just anti anti-ashley. That must be the most blatant outing yet for our Rafa bashing Mikey’s boy.

What a banana you are. Meanwhile my son suppirts liverpool with us as number 2. Let me explain to you stupid OP…..nufc probably have about 2% of fan support in ireland. Liverpool have just won the champs league. Are you working it out now? A seriously stupid individual. Honestly, take a bow.
