This is our predicted line-up for the trip to Leicester City on Sunday. We see Steve Bruce making three changes from the side that faced Brighton last weekend.
Sean Longstaff should be brought straight back into the team after recovering from his ankle injury. There was also news this morning from Steve Bruce that Jonjo Shelvey has injured his hamstring. We would expect Bruce to have Sean in the side in what will likely be another game where Newcastle cede possession to their opponents.
We also see Emil Krafth coming back into the team to replace Javier Manquillo. Krafth is more solid defensively than the Spaniard who had issues last week against Brighton. DeAndre Yedlin could be available after a long lay-off with his sports hernia surgery this past May. It will most likely be too early for Yedlin to get into the starting eleven.
There has been talk that Steve Bruce would drop the struggling Miguel Almiron for this game. While that is a possibility, we think Bruce will keep Miguel in the side. However in order to make way for Allan Saint-Maximin, Christian Atsu’s place in the team could be under threat. While this would be harsh on the 27-year-old, we think Bruce is going to give both Saint-Maximin and Almiron a go at Leicester.
With a lot of players returning the bench will have a lot of options. There will also be some tough decisions on who is left out of the match-day squad. This is how the bench could look on Sunday:
Karl Darlow, Javier Manquillo, Federico Fernandez, Ki Sung-yueng, Christian Atsu, Andy Carroll and Yoshinori Muto
We have Javier Manquillo on the bench instead of DeAndre Yedlin due to his ability to cover at left-back.
What Will Be The Result Of Sunday's Match At Leicester City?
- Loss (62%, 633 )
- Win (21%, 219 )
- Draw (17%, 169 )

Comment #4Tramp. Don’t fret that the ITK’s are not here. They come by the coach load and they are all boarding as we speak. When they do come they will turn up in numbers and ready for the long haul.

Comment #7I never vote for a loss, even if I think we will lose.
