Longstaff, Krafth, And Muto All Start At Leicester City

This is team that Steve Bruce will send out to face Leicester City this afternoon.

It’s a surprise start for Yoshinori Muto who looks like he will partner Joelinton upfront. We are not too sure of the formation though it definitely looks like it will be a back four unless Bruce is using Christian Atsu as a left wing-back.

This could be a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 with Joelinton playing behind Muto, who scored in the Carabao Cup against the Foxes.

We expected Emil Krafth to be drafted back into the side. Sean Longstaff is also back after missing the last two games with his ankle injury.

Andy Carroll and Allan Saint-Maximin again start from the bench. The big surprise is that Jetro Willems has not made the match-day squad. We see that Javier Manquillo and DeAndre Yedlin are there. We hope Jetro has not sustained an injury.

Here is the team Brendan Rodgers has selected for Leicester City.

As expected, Dennis Praet comes in for the injured James Maddison. Former Magpie Ayoze Perez gets his second start against Newcastle since leaving this summer.

Let’s hope for a reaction similar to the one at Tottenham. We expect the lads to play much better today. The return of Sean Longstaff could make all the difference.

Howay The Lads!

A new post is always opened for the 2nd half. Neil posts a new post at half-time and half the posters move onto that one and half stay on the first post.

I want everyone posting together so just letting all on here know look and you will see there is a new post on the blog you move onto.

How many games does Almiron get to get a goal or an assist. I think its now 17 and blanks on both counts.
I remember the crowd fawning about him.
20 million is now a bang average price for Prem player.
We thought it was 200 million its been so long since we spent any money. Like guys in a desert given a thimble of water. Desperate.

    Bruce is a total disgrace.
Every player we bought in this season no other PL team would have bought them.
    What next Man U 8 Newcastle 0.

Another sarcastic “thank you” to the dopes who continue to support Steve Bruce’s ongoing relegation-by-December campaign by turning up and supporting Ashley with their money
