Four Magpies Start For Their Loan Teams This Afternoon

Freddie Woodman started his eleventh straight league match for Swansea this afternoon. It was a very disappointing 1-2 loss at home against bottom Stoke City who had failed to win a match all season. The loss sees Swansea drop from the top spot in the Championship.

Jacob Murphy made his twelfth appearance for Sheffield Wednesday as an 80th minute substitute. The Owls won 1-0 at home against Wigan. It was just another late game cameo for Jacob who has started only one league match since August.

It’s back to the starting eleven for 22-year-old midfielder Dan Barlaser today. Dan had started the first six matches in all competitions for Rotherham. However, he had featured just 15 minutes in the previous five games. Barlaser lasted 73 minutes in a 4-0 win at home against Coventry. It’s great to see him back in the starting eleven.

Rolando Aarons made just his second appearance for Wycombe Wanders at home against Peterborough this afternoon. The 23-year-old came on in the 43rd minute with Wycombe down 0-2. They were able to level the score at two goals apiece. However, former Magpie Ivan Toney added a third goal for Peterborough in the second half. A late penalty would gain Wycombe a point in a 3-3 draw.

Liam Gibson started his sixth straight game for Grimsby Town at home against Mansfield. The left-back played the entire game in 0-1 loss for Grimsby. Even though down to ten men, Mansfield were able to get a winner in the 6th minute of stoppage time.

Kelland Watts found his way back into the starting eleven for Stevenage at Colchester. The center-back, who has not started the last two matches, was played at right-back for the injured Luther James-Wildin. Stevenage lost 3-1 and remain bottom of League 2 without a win this season.

Elias Sorensen was an unused substitute for the second straight match for Carlisle. Carlisle lost 1-0 at Newport County on a stoppage time goal. Manager Stephen Pressley substituted two of his front three this afternoon but still didn’t give a chance to Sorensen.

Goalkeeper Nathan Harker was an unused substitute for Blyth Spartans at Hednesford Town in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round. They lost 4-2 and have exited the FA Cup.

Whether he is lying or not is irrelevant, it’s not for you to make that accusation, he knows if it’s true or not, not you.

Same applies to his various and persistent ( daily – nay every couple of minutes) accusations at me

Get down off your high horse

You’re coming across as a bit pompous

Wtf, let’s go with first rule of thumb Steve, stop throwing your players under the bus, they know when they fcuk up.

Blaming Rafa for your inadequate coaching and changing things up it total bullshit, many managers in the Prem have gone into a club and changed things and made teams better.

You bitching about things makes you sound like a Mackem and not a Geordie, we told you not to take the job, ex players told you not to take the job maybe your family told you not to take the job.

But sadly you did and spouted off about how you can and will change things, well Steve that didn’t take to long to throw in the towel, why don’t you now listen to all the above and do the gracious thing and leave, be a fan and understand the manager in place can’t do his job ( That’s you Steve ) be the fan you talked about throughout the years, leave and let Ashley figure this shite out, it’s his pile of shite he built, you don’t have to play in the shite Steve.

You’ve done well in upsetting The Wife. When will you learn to temper your arrogance! Letting it run riot’s not very clever – hardly a sign of wisdom?

And this from one who’s happy to plagiarise information and post it as though from the depths of your very own vast knowledge bank and one whose claims are preposterous while being one who seems to defend Ashley and his exploitation of NUFC and its fans.

And, by claiming to be wronged by suggestions you post under a number of IDs your credibility is further diminished.

And just to put the icing on the cake, you’re having pop at Essex. What’s going on in that head of yours? Are you morphing into Trump, Liar Johnson or your idol, Ashley?

Someone asked why Bournemouth can outspend us a while back. It’s because they are putting money into the club to try and improve their squad etc which will result in them making a loss. They made an 11m loss last year and will make a much bigger one this year unless they sold a load in Jan. Ashley will not invest anything in the club and won’t allow us to fall further into debt with him or another company. Not sure I would want us going further in debt either as less likely of a sale.

Haha now Jib’s in trouble with “the Wife”!
He thinks calling someone “naive” is not offensive.
Jib, this is a measure of your arrogance and the reason you offend everyone with a different opinion to yours.
You are in permanent conflict with the admin and 99% of bloggers because you passively support Ashley’s regime, something that Ed, Neil and the Wife do not.
You’re on the wrong blog really; you should follow Martin Samuels on Twitter!

Given Sorensen’s lack of game time, it might be timely to ask what the hell the Loans Co-coordinator doing – apart from being Ashley’s plant in the camp?

Shola’s summary of his role could’ve been written for him – we’re not seeing any evidence of him reviewing the effectiveness of Sorensen’s secondment to Carlisle.

Considering Mr Bruce is not achieving much since his arrival, he could consider ceding his authority to the players for a few games. May be, the players under their own collective management would eke out results.

Can see us turning Man U over tomorrow. Got that feeling.

Two teams in a crisis, two desperate managers. I think Bruce is going to start Carroll, ASM and Almiron as the front three, probably with the latter two playing on the wrong sides mind.

A win will buy Bruce until at least mid-November.

We could see Silva, Poch, Ole all go next week. I think even if we lose Bruce will be given until at least the home match against Wolves.

Think the overrated Poch will go to Man U sooner or later and steady them without winning anything. Prob get them to around Spurs level of the last few seasons.

Mourinho will be picked up by Spurs.

Bielsa to Everton and Silva to Leeds.

Don;t think he’ll have many options in the PL. He;s been found out, got an undeserved reputation and the Everton job on the back of it. Unless he goes to another country I think Leeds is about the best he could hope for to try and regain some credibility.

Matheson said: “Under current rules, fans have no means of redressing their grievances. Fans such as those of Blackpool or Coventry or Bolton Wanderers have been treated abysmally, with their owners at fault. There has to be a mechanism to provide fans with an outlet to redress their grievances because at the moment they have nowhere to go.”

Toon the commutation thing won’t remove an owner although a club may have to set up something of a fans forum in the future. On the accounts from a very top level they look as he suggests we spend what we earn apart from when we get relegated then he pumps money in and calls it debt. A good owner would see that as an investment into getting his asset to increase the value but we don’t have one ( not sure on financial fair play rules etc). It would be good to get someone on the books once and for all to put it to bed but let’s see on that one.

I will stick with my opinion in that the only way the slug leaves is when a willing buyer comes along who wants the club badly.
