Mohammed Sangare got another start for Liberia this afternoon. The midfielder played on the right side of a 4-2-3-1 in the preliminary round of 2021 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifying.
Sangare was substituted in the 57th minute for striker William Jebor. Liberia were able to defeat Chad 1-0 and will play the second leg in Chad on Sunday October 13th. This was Mohammed’s 5th cap for Liberia. He made his debut in the group stage of the AFCON qualification against DR Congo in March.

The 20-year-old scored a penalty for his first international goal this past September in World Cup Qualifying against Sierra Leone. He has also started all seven Premier League 2 games for the Newcastle Under-23s this season.
