Longstaff Brothers Provide Comical Commentary For NUFC Training Drill

Newcastle have released a two-minute clip of the Longstaff brothers giving running commentary during a drill at training today.

In the video, the brothers take a stab at giving the play by play as Paul Dummett and Jetro Willems practice getting their crosses into the box. They seem to have even inspired Miguel Almiron with a clinical finish.

It seems the brothers have more talent than just with a football. Maybe a future in the broadcast business awaits them. We like their reserved manner a lot more than the very excitable Ray Hudson from beIN Sports.

It’s all in good fun, and the lads seem to be enjoying themselves a bit at practice today. It’s refreshing to see, and we can see why the pair are such popular teammates.

Ironic that the “Global Warming” protesters are cutting back
because the weather is getting too cold.

I’ve just got my first Android phone (Samsung A10) and want to install an ad blocker but am confused at the free ones available. A browser other than Chrome or Edge might be of interest

I’ve heard nice things about Firefox as a browser – any thoughts?

Any suggestions for a free ad block download?

Some of the adblocks seem to have malware protection built in – would that mean disabling whatever security Samsung’s built into the phone?

Any thoughts from those what know about these things would be appreciated.

    Samsung’s stock Samsung Internet Browser
Samsung’s default browser for its Galaxy phones is a reliable internet browser that you can download and install on any non-Samsung phone through the Google Play Store

I use Firefox on my laptop & iPad and am very happy with them.

Don’t do much internet stuff on my iPhone though.

    Hope this helps. 🙂

I would always be inclined to go with a proprietary
app if it does the job.
Using another may give you issues of conflict

Lesh – just use the Samsung provided browser.
much easier getting used to using voice commands for searches etc rather than typing stuff in.

I’ve got Avast Mobile Security on my Galaxy – works fine – costs nowt.

Usually Apps from the Playstore have been – -vetted I suppose – and do not contain any crap.

Avoid Samsung Pay – crap and you cannot get rid of it.

Nexus and Greggs should form a north east business consortium and buy the club.
Surely they have enough money to buy NUFC.
Id Rather see greggs splashed all over SJP.

That’s a powerful objection by Chi.
If that doesn’t work nothing will; it will depend on the integrity of the planning committee; however I fear it may be too late!
If the appeal is upheld it will be another major embarrassment for Ashley who continues his acquisition programme like some madman who’s escaped from the asylum!

This land lease transfer certainly looks like just standard business practice.

Still cant believe some of the stuff i have read on this blog about how ashley hasnt took from the club.
How he hasnt asset stripped away.
    The truth will prevail.
    Standard business practice ha.
