It was unlucky number thirteen for Goalkeeper Freddie Woodman. He had a miserable time at home in his 13th straight start for Swansea as he had to pick the ball out of the back of his net three times. Swansea lost to Brentford 0-3 at home and have fallen outside of the play-off places to 7th in the Championship.

Rolando Aarons only managed a 20-minute runout following his first start of the season for Wycombe Wanderers. Aarons started in Wycombe’s big win against Sunderland on Saturday. However, he started from the bench at Blackpool this evening. Aarons came on in the 70th minute in Wycombe’s 1-1 draw.

Kelland Watts continued his rotation of positions as caretaker manager Mark Simpson tries everything he can to get Stevenage out of the League 2 cellar. Tonight he gave Kelland a go at left midfield in a 5-3-2 after he had spent the last few games in the middle. He has also played right-back this season as well as in his natural center-back position. It was his fifth straight start for Stevenage as they lose through a stoppage time goal 1-0 at Swindon Town.

Liam Gibson started at left-back for the second straight game though this time in a back five for Grimsby Town. After losing 0-4 at home to Leyton Orient on Saturday, the Mariners were able to get a 0-0 draw at Cambridge United.

Elias Sorensen again did not get in the game for Carlisle United despite them substituting both starting strikers. Elias played 30 minutes this weekend in a cameo after not featuring in the three previous league games. Though the pressure is ratcheting up for Carlisle manager Steven Pressley who has lost another game at home. This time it was 0-2 to Northampton. That’s four losses in a row in League 2 for Carlisle as they drop to 21st in the table.

Jacob Murphy was mysteriously not in Sheffield Wednesday squad as they defeated Stoke City 1-0 at home. The Owls climb into the 4th spot in the standing. We are not sure why Jacob was not involved in the matchday squad this evening.

Kell isnt a natural centre back, he is a natural midfielder, attacking midfield.
Scored some belta goals.
Just shows his versatility.

Comment #3Murphy was probably dropped if these recent posts on the Owls forum is anything to go by
“Can we send him back? Offers nothing, concedes possession constantly and doesn’t break sweat. Worst player we’ve had in a very, very long time.”
“on paperMurphy was a great signing. don’t think I have gone from being as excited so much about a signing and then disappointed so quickly”
“…Glad to seeMurphy dropped. He deserved to be.”
“Someone has said it but I just can’t wrap my head around theMurphy twins playing regular Champ football and Rolando Aarons is in League 1.”
“Sounds like Newcastle have done a number on us twice first stealing Bruce from us and now offloading the woefully ineptMurphy brother …”
“…reckon minutes will be harder forMurphy to come by the next couple of months once FF is reintroduced.Murphy has no cutting edge to his game at present, and concedes possession far too cheaply.”
“…Our other options areMurphy (not playing well at all) “

Comment #5Great letter from Chi. Beats anything I’ve seen written on here or elsewhere about other folks’ objections, including the one I put in. The ability to reference the Council’s own planning policies back at them is key and should carry enough weight to put the planning on ice permanently.
Also, it sets the tone for any future appeal process should that be required.
Good on her. Our most powerful ally against Ashley and, if there is to be another General Election, I hope she keeps her seat as she is that rarest of politicians – one who is prepared to stand up for the rights of her constituents against big business.

Comment #6And yet another no show for Sorensen?
Shola, really needs to do what he’s paid to do and get these kids secondments that’ll help them develop. Does he know he’s got a job he’s expected to be seen to be doing?
