Two Missing From Training Images But This Big Man Is Back

Newcastle United have released some images from today’s training session. It looks like Andy Carroll will be available for selection against his former club West Ham.

Yesterday Keith Downie, with Sky Sports, reported that Fabian Schar would likely not be available for Saturday’s game. So we didn’t expect to see any images of him from today’s session.

However, we did not spot 30-year-old Matt Ritchie in any of the photographs. The club usually do an excellent job of having each player involved in training represented in at least one picture.

Last week we noticed that Fabian Schar was absent from the images the club released, and he turned out to have a knee injury.

So we hope Matt has not suffered any sort of setback in his recovery from his ankle injury. His initial prognosis was that it would be a two-month injury for Ritchie.

Since his injury occurred on August 28th, Saturday’s match is just over two months that he’s been out. Let’s hope he’s not had a reaction and is fit enough for selection on Saturday.

How Will Newcastle Do At West Ham On Saturday?

  • Lose (44%, 511 )
  • Win (33%, 378 )
  • Draw (23%, 267 )

When Ashley stated that NUFC will likely face difficulties being in the Prem in 2019-20, does he mean avoiding relegation this 2018-19 season or 2019-20 and thereafter? If it’s the latter, what’s he got in mind? Screwing the club even more than he has been?

Micky – No way would Mourinho work for Ashley – if there was a takeover (I know, I know) then maybe but I suppose it makes a good story.

Mourinho to Arsenal or Spurs. Definitely NOT Newcastle, If I’m wrong he would walk within a month putting up with GREEDY Fat Lad
