Clark, Fernandez, And Shelvey Get Starts Against Bournemouth

As expected, Steve Bruce has gone with the team that defeated West Ham last weekend.

This same side had nine shots on target at West Ham. We hope to see a similar assault on young Aaron Ramsdale in the Bournemouth goal. The defense also needs to keep their concentration for the entire match and not let in any sloppy goals.

Bournemouth have been short of goals lately with only 1 in the last 4 games. So we have a real chance here to get a clean sheet and all three points. Like last week, getting an early goal could be crucial.

With a bit of luck, we could really help our goal difference if we can bury our chances. But let’s not get carried away, we’ll take the three points any way we can get them.

This is the team Eddie Howe has selected for Bournemouth.

This is a massive opportunity for the lads to go into the third international break on a high. Last month, they were able to do the same with a win against Manchester United. However, this time they can take consecutive wins into the two-week break.

A win should see the lads move up a few places. We could be in prime position for the flurry of fixtures to come over the final month and a half of 2019.

Howay The Lads!

Disappointing to see no Muto and Kraft on the bench.

Manquillo must be nicking Ashlies pies.

Almiron to score and Jonjo to score from 50 yards.

Today should be a good indicator if a top 10 finish is realistic. Things could get quite funny if Bournemouth target Saint-Maximin, he seems like the type of player that will just do better if he can draw players into his orbit. The closer you get to Max, the quicker he will go past you.

It all depends on us getting the ball to maxim and Almiron in the correct areas of the pitch rather than deep in our half. It just can’t be like Brighton in which we play so deep.

Think we’ll score off a set-piece today and get another goal, should be enough for a win.

We have a lot of strength, power and aerial ability compared to them and of course the two flyers coming in off the wings.

The one that calls himself Jib’s hasn’t gone far – Jane’s posting.

But why no Jib? Maybe Ed, Neil and his Wife have consulted with Shola and Pressly and benched him for a couple of weeks. Jib had a fortnight of ‘self imposed exile’ *harrumph* so he may be some time away.

Or… he could’ve been summonsed by comrade Cummings to give Boris Liar some coaching!

Your allusion to the Strwaberryw Place development providing jobs’ll not be far off the mark. Job creation will have been a consideration in the Council view of the planning application.

In saying that, there would’ve been jobs available had Ashlie chosen to expand SJP rather than hobble any potential for doing so.

BTW, as always, will take a win and sod the 3 Euros bet 😉

Just looked at the Pre table and five of the top 10 are clubs that aren’t owned or sponsored by rich nations or their royalty. That put’s paid to Ashlie’s argument that he couldn’t (wouldn’t) afford to back NUFC to compete with the so-called big clubs

Think Wilson had his feelings hurt because his so called ‘pace’ was shown to be not so great by a big CB and so had a petty push. should be treat as any other kind of lash out, the intent to harm was there.
