Steve Bruce Adds Another Defender To Injury Concerns

Steve Bruce has given his press conference this morning for Monday’s match at Aston Villa. While it’s good news on both Fabian Schar and Florian Lejeune, it appears as though Ciaran Clark picked up a knock in Ireland’s draw against Denmark on Tuesday.

We suppose it’s timely that Lejeune is back under consideration after his long spell on the injury list. It also appears that Fabian Schar will be available for selection for Monday.

We could see a very different back line at Aston Villa but it could actually be our best one. If Clark is declared unfit, it would most likely be Florian Lejeune who comes in for him. Unless if Steve Bruce deems it to be too soon for a full return. Then we would likely see Paul Dummett.

However, if Lejeune does get the go ahead, it could be Fabian Schar, Federico Fernandez, and Florian Lejeune as our back three. That is not too bad at all considering that Jamaal Lascelles and possibly Ciaran Clark could be ruled out.

    Bills Son is Back,
You’re comparing KK and Poch to Bruce. Firstly KK’s journey is completely different to Pochetino. We all know about KK, Poch came in to Soton and had them playingbgoid football but with owners similar to Ashley in ambition so going nowhere, he was then poached by Spurs and will now more than likely end up.at Man U or another glamour club. Steve Bruce’s two biggest gigs are a Championship Villa or a Mike Ashley Newcastle, despite none of them winning anything there is a reason Bruce has never been considered for the Man U job or any club with top six ambitions.

The article is clearly talking about commercial revenue yet Jib points to that season’s points when we were doing particularly bad under Roeder. He will then without shame or sense of irony ask somebody else if they have comprehension problems.

I hold my hands up and admit I misunderstood
    that particular para

The point I made still stands however

Comparing our commercials to other clubs whose
circumstances and ownership are structured totally
differently is an apples and oranges scenario.
