Steve Bruce has given his press conference ahead of the Manchester City match on Saturday. He touched upon the situation with Matt Ritchie who will be out until early January. It also looks like DeAndre Yedlin could be out for Saturday with a hip injury.

If Yedlin can’t make the game tomorrow we would expect Emil Krafth to get the nod. He seems to be higher in the pecking order than Javier Manquillo, who has not made the bench over the past few months.
In our predicted lineup, we had Krafth in for Yedlin but it was due to the defensive liabilities of the American.
Yedlin had performed superbly since his return against Manchester United. However, against Aston Villa we saw a real dip in his form as he struggled to contain Aston Villa’s attacks down his flank.
It looks like it could be a real opportunity for Emil Krafth to get back into this team. He has not started since the Leicester City debacle so he should be raring to go. However, against a team like Manchester City, he is going to have to play better than he had before he was dropped for Yedlin.
