Former Teammate Heaps Misery On Newcastle Loan Lad

Freddie Woodman made his 19th start for Swansea this afternoon. However, it was one to forget as he came up against his former teammate Aleksandar Mitrovic who netted a brace for Fulham. Swansea fell to the Cottagers 1-2 at home and are now winless in their last four matches.

Swansea narrowly cling on the final playoff spot but could see Bristol City or Brentford overtake them with wins on Saturday.

Aleksandar Mitrovic continues his dominance of the Championship by scoring his 14th and 15th goals in just 17 games this season. Fulham remain in the third spot behind Leeds United in second and leaders West Brom.

For Freddie Woodman, it’s been somewhat of a disappointment of late. They’ve kept only one clean sheet in the past two months after having four in the first eight matches. Swansea travel to face league leaders West Brom next Sunday as they try to get back on track.

as the commentator rightly said at the end Freddie Woodman didn’t have a save to make all game.

Mmm, I think it’s fair to say that Mitrovic really should have been leading our line in the Championship, with Perez or Gayle off his shoulder, probably Perez, Ritchie and Atsu as conventional wingers and Diame and Shelvey in tandem behind.

We all wondered why, and the simple answer is Rafa just got it wrong on that occasion, and stuck to his guns regardless, very nearly costing us the title.

If Krafth plays we’ll get hammered down that side …although I think we’re probably going to get hammered regardless (

No say in who we buy but will be required to play along and say you had a choice
No chance of building a team
Will have players sold and the money never re invested
Facilities that include wheelie bins and paddling pools
No interest in the youth setup
A toxic fan base who have had enough
An owner who wont speak to you
Mr Bishop looming over you even though he dont work for the club
    A fakeover once a year

Will be expected to take all the flack

I think we will get well beaten tomorrow
Shame but it needs to happen and show the world that Canbage head is not good enough to be associated with our club.

We usually make a game of it against the senior clubs. Easier to rally the side for a match at home v City, than an away day at Norwich or Villa. Our team selection, formation and tactical approach will be critical though, so in that regard Bruce is under some pressure. It’s not a free hit. It’s a game we can take something from if Bruce gets it right, but also a game we can get leathered in if he doesn’t.

Stan Anderson that is a pretty idiotic statement as us losing to city will certainly not show the world Bruce should not be associated with us. We are expected to lose very comfortably if you listen to most outlets.

On this new fan forum thing it’s a joke they have split it into 4 categories that means you can’t challenge key topics of the club anymore. If you ask any of them groups about investment strategy, youth development etc the group mentioned will just claim they are not set up to discuss the matters. In essence the fans get a say in match day experience, tickets and community but not actually being able to voice concerns on the actual running of the club.

If shelvey plays tomorrow it will be extremely painful. Needs to be Hayden and Sean. Need Schar and Lejuerne back pronto as well as they are both by far the best cbs at the club. Would rather manquillo than Krafth (never thought I would be pushing for manquillo to start). Atsu to come in for Almiron for me but won’t be too bothered if not as I can see a quality player in Almiron just think he needs some time out.

    WOW

I agree with you on the fans forums
Funny how Jabba wants to force his opinions and refuses to listen to his customers , as per usual
They are doing it to avoid the rules, something else Jabba is a specialists in

Lets just pretend to follow the rules while sticking two fingers up to everyone involved as per usual

Looks like mitrovic is scoring for fun with Fulham.

I still say benetiz made a huge mistake in ditching mitrovic. He should have stayed along with Rondon.
