Almiron, Dummett, And Manquillo All Start Against Manchester City

Here is the team Steve Bruce has selected for today’s match at St James Park. It has just one change from the match at Aston Villa with Javier Manquillo coming in for the injured DeAndre Yedlin.

Steve Bruce has decided to keep with the team from last week despite the poor performance. We are stunned with the team he has selected as we thought Fabian Schar and Sean Longstaff would make their returns.

Yoshinori Muto is again left out of the squad despite Andy Carroll missing out with his rib injury. There is also no place for Florian Lejeune just yet.

Here is the side that Pep Guardiola will put out for the visitors.

We hope the lads can redeem themselves with a decent performance today. It’s definitely going to be a tough game for them to get anything out of. As long as they put in the effort and try to keep the score down, we’ll be pleased. However, you just never know with this team so maybe we can come away with something this afternoon.

Howay The Lads!

Make or break for shelvey, he has the captaincy and hes getting a run of games, if he doesn’t come good he can be dropped and sold without having a leg to stand on in regards to “senior” player etc .

I would much prefer to give the longstaffs game time to develop than pander to shelvey who very occasionally shows glimpses of genius but 98% of the time minces about and points to where he himself should be running before forlornly pinging long balls to the oppositions defence

It’s Shelvey’s distribution that has given the side confidence to do something more than sit back for 90 minutes.

Sion Massey is on the touch line. I was at her very first premierleague match it was at Molineux, Wolves vs Pool.

Really wish Dubravka wouldn’t lump the ball up the pitch. Man City then just instantly retreive the ball again.

    Assassins Creed or whatever,
I didn’t start any shit, I just disagreed with you on Bowen and stated my reasons, just like I thought your views on Perez were a bit harsh, which prompted you to have the biggest blog tantrum I’ve ever seen and an admission that you thought about me when you were on the toilet, which quite frankly I thought was downright weird.

Well bringing in Manquillo who is most definitely off in the summer is a glowing endorsement of the 5M Swedish international Emile Krafth.

Ok, we’ve survived this long, good.

But it can’t last. We need to play a bit.

The ref to signal to Bruce, tell him to bring another two players on. Try to make it more of a game.

Nufc-83, try changing the record. You need some new material:

    “What game are you watching”
    “clown”
    “Should take up another sport”.

It is possible for somebody to have a different assessment to you. That doesn’t mean they are watching a different team/game, or should take up another sport because they are not as tactically enlightened as you seem to believe you are.

The thing that’s killing me is we look just as clueless as last week, we are just working very hard. Does bruce teach them anything?
