Freddie Woodman got the start for Swansea as they faced Brentford at Griffin Park. However, it did not go well for Freddie and Swansea as they lost 3-1 snapping a three-game unbeaten streak. Swansea drop to 8th place in the Championship. It was Freddie’s 24th start in the league.

Jacob Murphy came on as a second-half substitute in Sheffield Wednesday’s 3-2 loss at Stoke. It continues to be a frustrating season for Jacob, who hadn’t played in the last two league matches. He’s made just 8 starts for the Owls in the league all season.

Dan Barlaser played the entire match for Rotherham as they traveled to Shrewsbury and come away with a 2-1 win. Dan had an outstanding game and received lots of praise online from Rotherham fans. He’s done very well in his loan spell with the Millers who are up to fifth place with the win.

Rolando Aarons was handed just his fifth league start for League One leaders Wycombe Wanderers. They traveled to Portsmouth but come away empty-handed with a 2-0 loss. It’s a second straight defeat for Wycombe. Aarons was pulled after 67 minutes as he winds down his time at Wycombe. He’s due to return to Newcastle in just over two weeks.

Liam Gibson made another start for struggling Grimsby Town. However, he was forced off with a knock in the 61st minute. We hope it’s just that as Liam has had a rough time with injuries and illness over the past few seasons. Newcastle’s Kelland Watts was injured for Stevenage on November 9th and has yet to return.
The Mariners continue their winless streak as they only manage a 1-1 draw at Macclesfield. They haven’t tasted victory in League Two since late September.
