Three Magpies In Loan Action This Afternoon

Jacob Murphy was handed a rare start in the FA Cup for Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon. The Owls were able to get a big 1-0 win at Brighton on a 65th-minute goal by Adam Reach. Jacob played 71 minutes before being replaced by Kadeem Harris.

Dan Barlaser started again for Rotherham at home against Hull City in the FA Cup. Rotherham went down to ten men in the first half but had a 2-1 lead at halftime. However, Hull City’s Tom Eaves scored two second-half goals to complete a hat trick for the 3-2 win. It was Barlaser’s sixth straight start for the Millers.

In League Two action, Liam Gibson got another start for Grimsby Town. Grimsby won 1-0 at Mansfield despite going down to ten men in the tenth minute. It was a debut victory for new manager Ian Holloway and the second straight for the Mariners who hadn’t won since September until earlier this week. Gibson received a late yellow card and was substituted in the 80th minute.

It seems to me Jabba has gotten his own way for so very long he has lost touch with reality
Its the reason i repeat ” its never jabbas fault ”
He thinks he can just go on steam rollering whatever
I doubt he has the intelligence to operate in the world he finds himself in
Hence his use of a certain Mr Bishop

He wants to make money but has lost touch with exactly how exatly he would do that
So he simply reverts to what made him money all those years ago

Even without a win in 10 games under Rafa, I never worried. Now after loosing 3 in a row in the premium league I’ve no faith in Bruce turning it around.

Where’s this attacking football under Bruce?

Can’t wait for this mythical forward thinking European manger willing to come and change things under Ashley!

Everyone can see from a mile away its true
He is splashing about trying to make money with out a clue as to how he should be doing so
He has gone back to type, what made him his fortune
Doing people over, just this time hes trying to do it in football
Its making him look an utter fool
His actions are costing him money and devaluing his assets

Earlier today there was a quote from Bruce that we had some ambitious transfer targets underway.

    Tonight from Sky
Steve Bruce says Newcastle’s priority is to sign a striker in January and revealed the club have “had a couple of knock-backs already”.

In less than 24hours we have more drivel to contend with

Remember when he ought Game ?
Without a clue as to how he would make money from it, with nothing more than a vague notion, and a whole bunch of wishful thinking
Lets see what he can make from the investment our club made for him
He bought it without a thought in his head as to what he would do with it
though his “clever” people would make something from it

    Lets see what he does

“And he still didn’t sign it off.”

Yes Munster but again you gave no criticism to Bruce today, absolved him of blame because of a poor squad, even though he agreed to the signing of Joelinton, if it was Rafa today you would have slaughtered him, again it was not fair and balanced, you have favoured Bruce all season over Rafa

Worst thing about the injuries is, Ashley will be thinking Bruce was doing spectacular before the injuries stopped his masterplan. This was always going to happen. I was worried when we were winning. 6/1 on us going down after Palace looks like crazy odds now.

Bruce will be cack no matter who we buy because he’s a cack manager, and when you hire a cack manager the effect is a cack team. I’d take almost anybody now. Moyes and Pearson are streets ahead of our dinosaur.

Why should people be asking questions of him now, he’s gone. You seem so content, smug even that you were one of his biggest critics, what did it achieve. Those that got behind him created a special atmosphere inside the ground, those that openly criticised him helped fuel the smear campaign that Ashley and Churnley to advantage of and used against him when looking for an excuse not to give him what he needed. So please tell me what your fair and balanced criticism has achieved????

    So, according to The Sun….

NEWCASTLE manager Steve Bruce hopes Zlatan Ibrahimovic can help him land AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek.
Bruce is in talks with the Serie A club over the Polish forward, 24, whose place is under threat after the arrival of Swedish legend Ibrahimovic.

Step one should be hire Ralf Rangnick as DoF and give him full control. If Ashley gives decisions over to someone better than Charnley things will get better. We can’t continue to choose the likes of JFK, Carver, Bruce, McLaren, Pardew, Wise, and Charnley and expect anything less than being awful. Choosing one of them would be unlucky, but choosing 7!!! But will Ashley sack Charnley for choosing diabolical managers? Will he ask questions of our scouts for having Joelinton top of their list? Will he sack Bruce for being the first man to crash a parked bus? No. He will dig his heals in until there is either no choice or Bruce walks from shame. Bruce is never going to be a top manager. He lost all hope of that once the foreign managers started coming to the EPL with fancy ideas like styles of play and tactics. Even when the league had ten or so dinosaurs he was getting relegated. Who can he outsmart now his peers have become extinct?

Unfortunately for the fans, I think it might take a few years in the Championship for Ashley to even consider selling us. Once he starts hemorrhaging money then he’ll sell us in a heartbeat, no doubt about it. I personally don’t even care if we do get relegated because it makes no difference anymore, we’re a lifeless, soulless, money making toy for Ashley. There’s nothing to he proud of anymore, and it’s not gonna get better anytime soon.

I’m not sure about that Jib, it’s a rock and a hard place. I most definitely do not want us to go down as it’s footin embarrassing and there’s only one way from there. But he is not selling while we are eeking out survival and lining his pockets either. Crowds will drop to 20K this time round in the Champo and will only get worse, his brand suffers, the Venky’s etc don’t have a brand, they sell chickens, not supposedly elite sportswear. Like I say, a rock and a hard place.

Think about it logically, if he really wanted to sell, why would he have paid 40M? for Joelinton because Rondon had no sell on value, why would he care if Rondon went for free in three years time, do you think that he thought by having a 30 year old Rondon on our books would hamper a sale. Do you think by giving Rafa what he wanted would have us in a healthier position for a sale. He knew as well as everyone else (bar you) that this season would be a struggle. If he thought otherwise Bruce would have been his first choice. He has no intention of selling, are you deliberately provoking people or do you believe he is?

On the sale of the club, imo its NOT even up for sale and Never has been, its a scam which eventually most fans have seen through.
When /if NUFC is eventually sold it will be done on the qt and then announced once its all finalised and gone through.

Jail neither you nor I know what goes on Ashley’s mind or what his intentions are , I merely made the point that if he is to recover his money , it is only achievable by selling the club in the money factory that is the PL if you find that provocative so be it.

It’s a shame Martin Samuel never asked any really searching questions in the joke interview with Ashlie. You know, something on the lines of ” why do you think your player judgement was better than Rafa’s re – Joelinton”.

    Happy cloud: BZG, Rafa, Rondon
    Sad cloud: Ashley, Bruce, Joelinton.

It’s a shame no U23’s like Toure got a cameo yesterday like that 18 year old Norwich kid. Would have been nice to go to a back 4 too for a change. Ki for Muto was again another badly judged sub at the state of the game. Just feels like something has to give sooner or later.
