Newcastle Free Agent Called Up To Train With First Team

Steve Bruce brought four Newcastle youngsters with the squad to Rochdale on Saturday. However, only three of them ended up making the bench in Elias Sorensen, Tom Allan, and Lewis Cass.

Unfortunately, the events of the day made it impossible for any of them to make their debuts with Newcastle unable to build a strong lead and ultimately leaving Spotland with a disappointing 1-1 draw.

The player who missed out on a place on the teamsheet was free agent Ludwig Francillette. He was far from upset with his exclusion, however, and seems to have been thrilled with the experience.

This is what the 20-year-old tweeted after the match.

Ludwig has since been called up to train with the first team and again is buzzing with the chance. This is what he tweeted yesterday about the experience.

The youngster has just a great attitude, and his Twitter page is all about Newcastle. He seems to just love it on Tyneside.

Francillette joined as a free agent this past summer, along with goalkeeper Jake Turner and midfielder Kyle Scott. He’s made 7 appearances for the U23s so far and was paired with Florian Lejeune when the Frenchman played his two reserve matches a few months ago.

Hopefully, Ludwig will continue to progress and can eventually make his mark in the Newcastle first-team in the coming years.

Atsu is better than Lookman. Can’t believe we’d want to sign him. Must sign Jarrod Bowen. Just pay the £20m. He’s the next Gareth Bale.

Kets – sounds like common sense………….something that does not prevail at this version of NUFC.

Atsu better than Lookman, attitude wise probably but Lookman is a much better player.

Lookman on loan with view to permanent deal, plus Bowen and a striker would be great.

Offloading Ki, Gayle, Saivet and Sterry in this window. Ideally Elliott and Muto too.

Sell Atsu in the summer if Lookman impresses.

For the hight of a transfer window, it feels more like an international break on here.

Ademola Lookman ? This is the forward that NUFC are supposed to be trying to buy to solve our lack of goals.
    HE IS ANOTHER WINGER !
WHO THE F##K IS IN CONTROL ?
Why do you want another winger ? We need a proven goal scorer, Not another winger that will get right up to the goal then forget WTF he is supposed to do next, like JOE from LINTON does every time .
