Newcastle have released images from today’s training session. Things may be a lot better than even Bruce hinted at in his press conference this morning. Both Emil Krafth and DeAndre Yedlin have joined Jamaal Lascelles, Jonjo Shelvey, and Allan Saint-Maximin in full training.
While Jonjo and Allan have been ruled out for tomorrow, maybe Emil or DeAndre can be involved at right-back.

Steve Bruce already confirmed this morning that Jamaal Lascelles will, at the very least, make the bench for tomorrow’s replay. We would also expect Matt Ritchie to get his first start since August.
Isaac Hayden had to fill in at right wing-back at Wolves on Saturday, so seeing Krafth and Yedlin back in training could be a sign that we’ll have a natural right-back available tomorrow.
The other great news is that Steve Bruce still has four youngsters involved in the training session, with three of them being local lads. Tom Allan, Lewis Cass, Kelland Watts, and Elias Sorensen all continue to train with the first team.
We’d expect at least one, if not all, of Allan, Cass, or Sorensen to make the bench for the FA Cup.

Comment #41lesh, I think Posada has always been a ‘member of the Ashley-out cause’, he’s also just been a keen advocate of the right of the fans to attend matches.
These things are not mutually exclusive and we all need to be careful to not fall into that trap.
Not meaning to lecture you, just correct an error – no offence meant.

Play a higher line, get those wingbacks on the ball in the final third, and bomb on.
In the EPL it’s admittedly risky to play a higher line, particularly if you’re back 3 isn’t super quick, and you aren’t getting a lot of possession, but you still need to consistently get the wingbacks on the ball in the final third, and one of the centre mids pushing on too, otherwise you simply won’t score the goals to get you to safety, much less provide an entertainment.

Comment #43I wonder if Bruce has been recently told that Joel must be persevered with up top. Something along the lines of we didn’t pay 40 million for a winger, we paid 40 million for a centre forward, who are appreciably more expensive, and we aren’t gonna splash out on another one in January.

Comment #44A good watch Rob, just a shame our goals are so few and far between we have the time to celebrate just one.
