Whatever Happened To Arsenal Youngster On Trial In October?

In October, Arsenal Academy youngster Stan Flaherty had a trial at Newcastle after finishing one up at West Ham.

While there’s been no further news on the lad, he recently posted a picture of St James Park on his Instagram account and has just posted the following message.

It looks like the youngster has made a decision on his future. The image he posted of St James Park from December could be a hint that he’s signing with Newcastle. However, that is pure speculation on our part.

Newcastle recently signed, but have yet to announce, 16-year-old Reagan Thomson from Queens Park in Scotland as the club look to strengthen the Academy.

We’ll see if Stan Flaherty, who turned 18 last month, is one of them.

The club may be sitting on the announcement of signing young’uns until
month’s end , in case we don’t sign any seniors.

Dont think anyone should he expecting big things from this window at all, I’d be happy with willems being signed permanently and 1 other signing or a loan.

Other than that it’ll be a case of keeping powder dry for summer (hopefully we stay up) then adding a bit more quality which is better value than winter window
