The youngster made his own announcement on his Instagram account earlier this week, but it’s good to see that Newcastle have finally confirmed the signing.
This is what Thomson said about why he wanted to sign for Newcastle:
“I just thought Newcastle is the place I want to be, a better place to come in my opinion.
“You look at boys like Sean and Matty Longstaff, and then young Tom Allan who came on the other night – hopefully in a few years, I can try and get in there.”
Here is a tweet from Queens Park about the youngster.
Although only 16 years of age, Reagan made 9 first team appearances for Queen’s Park and is the latest in a long line of youth prospects to emerge from our thriving youth academy. pic.twitter.com/2nU55PIAxM

Reports last week said that Reagan would link up the Ben Dawson’s U23s and that he would sign on an initial 2 1/2 year deal. However, Newcastle did not provide any details in their announcement.
We wish the youngster the best of luck and hope he can make an impact in the first team in the coming years.
