Video – Watch Newcastle’s Three Superb Goals At Oxford – Plus Overall Highlights

Newcastle, unfortunately, needed three goals and extra time to get past Oxford this afternoon. But they were three outstanding goals from the Magpies at the Kassam Stadium this evening.

Here is the opener from Sean Longstaff who gets his first goal of the season with an excellent strike.

Joelinton doubled Newcastle’s lead with his third goal in all competitions. Longstaff played a beautiful long-ball and the Brazilian took care of the rest despite being hindered by what looks to be a problem with his ribs.

Then Allan Saint-Maximin scored the following scorcher on a break to get Newcastle into the fifth round.

There’s also this piece of magic from Allan Saint-Maximin in the corner.

Oxford had two excellent goals of their own so it was a great match for the neutrals. However, it was draining for us as we thought Newcastle had thrown this one away.

But we’ll take it as we are finally through to the final sixteen of the FA Cup, where we will travel to face West Brom in March.

Here is the full highlights of the match.

Richie loses ball then fouls, in the exact position at least once every game he plays, always resulting in a free kick for the opposition in the most dangerous place. WHY! hasn’t played well since he came back from injury, same with Yedlin and Lejuern. Some great goals a some good performance, especially good to see Sean playing well again.
