Two Newcastle Wingers In Action On Loan Tonight

Jacob Murphy came on for a late cameo in Sheffield Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat at Luton Town. Jacob had enjoyed a string of 5 league starts in his 6 games. However, he’s come on around the 70th-minute mark for the last two appearances. The Owls remain in the 12th spot in the Championship and are now winless in their last five. Murphy has made a total of 29 appearances with 4 goals and an assist during his loan spell.

Rolando Aarons made his third start for Motherwell in their 2-1 defeat at St Johnstone. It looked like it was headed for a draw but Christopher Kane grabbed a stoppage-time winner for St Johnstone. Rolando was substituted in the 84th minute for Liam Polworth after Christy Manzinga was sent off with a second yellow. Motherwell now drop behind Aberdeen for that coveted third position which qualifies for a Europa League place.

If there were a 1000 protesters who’d had a visit they’d be virtually anonymous but as we far as we know, there were two.

    Think about it.

    I doubt he can answer

He’s being watched as he said

But honestly asking my MP is nothing more than asking if this is right ?
    From a concerned bystander
Am I to believe i should be fearful?
Or should think the guy involved might be under duress for asking the truth
Under law from my MP ?

    Odd to even think it

    Jail,

Fair enough, I agree with that – generally speaking posts that get the most ‘hearts’ are ones when one poster is having a go at another.

That’s quite normal from a popularity point of view….but doesn’t really reflect the ‘quality’ angle.

Anyway, hope you’re enjoying the holiday……winter breaks are the best 🙂

As for Bills Son is Back using his and his wife’s illness to call me despicable is pretty low mind and pretty much sums him up. The first time he disappeared I actually e mailed Ed and asked if he was ok and to send on my best wishes. His very first words on return from his second hiatus was a bile strewn post about how it must stick in the craw of all those that said a top manager wouldn’t work under Ashley. I didn’t know his wife had cancer so to accuse me if that is pretty despicable in itself. If I’d been gone a long time with illness my first words wouldn’t be to rub posters noses in it. Besides his words were quite prophetic as it was eventually shown that a top manager couldn’t work under Ashley as he done everything in his power to undermine him as soon as he’d served his purpose.

Toon 22 as others have requested – best not to get involved in the Genjikai/police incident.

You do not know the ins and outs of the matter – you could ended up unintentionally causing more bother.

I am shocked as you and others are about this. And as others have alluded to – what offences were the police investigating. Did the club use their data of a fan to pursue him – illegally. They can use the data for the prevention and detection of crime etc – but surely this does not extend to holding a poster up inside the ground.

Could the sods be topping up their intel by reading this blog. All creepy stuff.

DANNY ROSE EXPLAINS WHY HE WAS MOTIVATED TO MOVE TO NEWCASTLE – BBC 5 LIVE SPORT
Hello and welcome to our Newcastle United live blog on Wednesday, February 12.

Newcastle United players will soon be back in training ahead of their upcoming Premier League clash at Arsenal.

Last time out before the winter break, the Magpies eventually came out on top against Oxford United, with Allan Saint-Maximin scoring a wondergoal to hand United the win.

Mike Ashley also made an appearance at the Kassam Stadium – where he was the subject of anti-owner chants from the away end.

Meanwhile there continues to be speculation over a possible takeover, with Carla DiBello – a friend of the Kardashians – revealed to be one of the Amanda Staveley advisors in a piece in Bloomberg on Friday afternoon.

Yedlin: We’re refreshed from the break
    DeAndre Yedlin on the break:

It was nice to get away from football and clear your mind. It’s important as a player sometimes – we had a busy December and January with the replays as well.

For me, more than the physical break it was important to get that mental break and get some different scenery and some sun.

    The real story about Mitrovic
    Steve McClaren on Joelinton.

“We signed him and he was a young player and we wanted him as the number two. Unfortunately, we got injuries and we had to put him as the number one. He was immature and wasn’t ready for that. Hot-headed at the time. He got sent off. Discipline. He got frustrated and got down. And it’s a different level.

“It’s 52,000, you have to handle the pressure, and he was too young to do that. He went out on loan, I thought he would score goals, which he did. He came back and I thought he would carry on scoring goals. And, unfortunately, it wasn’t for him and he moved on.

Newcastle have done the same with Joelinton at this present moment. Another young player who is finding it difficult to establish himself at Newcastle. And maybe, that number nine at Newcastle is a big, big shirt to fill. Mitrovic, Joelinton, for young players it’s difficult. Mitrovic suffered [at Newcastle] and has done tremendously well in the Championship”

Yet despite being armed with this knowledge they done the exact same with Joelinton, this is why we’ll be relegated within two years again.

Ive never criticised Genjikais protests as hes doing good and even if i disagree with methods or wording i keep my mouth shut as theres always a queue of people waiting to put others down who try in life. But protesting out somebodys house where they presumably live with family is intimidation also and was pointed out by a few. Ashley is known for being fiercly protective of his inner circle and that would have crossed the line for him. Id say hes getting revenge as hes not the sort to let things slide. Message is if you turn up to my staffs house to intimidate them, ill turn up to your house to intimidate you twice as hard. And as Lesh said the rich have more power and police and journalists and lawyers on their side. Cant beat them. It shouldnt have come as a surprise.

Seen a thread on twitter about us having the lowest possession stats in the universe and there are people claiming that it’s a legacy from Rafa’s style and that once Bruce gets to shape the team in his vision things will improve. Dear gawd, can people not see the exact and I mean exactly the same parallels as when a middling Championship manager was given exciting but inexperienced players who wanted to use the club as a stepping stone. Why are the idiots running the club expecting it to work second tim around.

I think Allegri would be a perfect fit Rob. No doubt new Saudi owners would eventually want a Liverpool esque marauding team playing entertaining football but that’s not going to happen straight away. Even if we appointed Pep and gave him a blank PIF cheque book it would take time to change from Rafa’s effective defensive style, even though Steve Bruce was expected to do it overnight with 3 new signings!

Also to add this was a joint protest with the london Magpie group who protested outside of ashley at the same time. (Theyve done it 3 times now not even a mention or a visit) i was told it is different laws down london.
