Newcastle Could Sign These Three Out Of Contract Prospects This Summer

Recently Newcastle have been linked with a few youngsters who will be out of contract with their clubs this summer. With the club trying to increase the quality at the academy, we will likely see Newcastle bring in some young talent this summer.

The club seem to be on the lookout for bargains at the youth level. So that could mean that some of the recently linked players could be targets after this season.

Last summer, Newcastle added three free agents to the U23s in midfielder Kyle Scott, goalkeeper Jake Turner, and defender Ludwig Francillette.

A couple more were added to the U18s in January in Reagan Thomson from Queen’s Park and Stan Flaherty from Arsenal. Thomson was brought in for around £50k while Flaherty was signed on a scholarship deal.

Another Arsenal player Newcastle were said to be tracking is 18-year-old Alfie Matthews. There was a report last month that the youngster, whose two-year scholarship at Arsenal expires this summer, was offered a deal by Newcastle.

Alfie Matthews– are Newcastle looking at young striker

We haven’t heard anything else about Matthews but he could still be on the radar. The young striker has scored 5 goals for the Arsenal U18s this season including 3 in his last 4 games.

On Thursday, Newcastle were linked with another young forward in Scunthorpe’s John McAtee. The 20-year-old impressed when Newcastle’s U23s played Scunthorpe’s U23s in November.

John McAtee– scouted by Newcastle last Saturday

McAtee has since broken into the first-team for the League Two club where he’s made 10 appearances in 2020 with 2 goals and an assist.

He signed for the Irons last year on a one year deal so he will be available for nothing this summer.

The brightest prospect of the bunch is Turkish 19-year-old Efe Binici. The Goztepe midfielder has been compared to AC Milan’s Hakan Calhanoglu.

Efe Binici– Newcastle to scout starlet on Saturday

Newcastle will reportedly be scouting Binici on Saturday in an U19 match against Konyaspor. He’s been prolific for Goztepe at the youth level scoring 51 goals while adding 84 assists.

He’s yet to sign a professional deal and would be available for just a developmental fee.

These three prospects are all being tracked by Newcastle and could join in the summer for very little outlay. We think they would represent excellent value and increase the quality at the academy.

What Will Be The Result At Arsenal On Sunday?

  • Loss (44%, 1,119 )
  • Draw (29%, 735 )

How many more fakeovers do you think it’ll take for Jabba to see it’s over for him at our club ?

    Well

I thought the time before last would be it
    Obviously I was wrong
My current thinking puts the clubs sale on par with the constant sale at another one of his tat shops
Personally I think we will see the sale until either he dies or has the ability to own us removed from him legally

Who do you think he will pretend to sell us to next time?

Mash does care about the club, just not enough to Make it a force. He’s doing what he thinks is enough to keep us in the Premier league and secure his investment. His biggest mistake is throwing coin away on flops. The result is on the pitch.
Fans have a choice if they want to pay to watch it or not.

I don’t think NY Mag’s intention was to out your location so the police could drop by your house for a chat about how you oppose how the club’s run, but after hearing Genjikai’s story, I can see how distrust and suspicion can set in.

The club seem to be on the lookout for bargains at the youth level are they?

Recent links to potential signings could be a sign that Ashley’s playing silly buggers again, making demands that a buyer won’t have.

Despite optimism, faint and desperate hope from some posters, history suggests that this reported takeover’s gonna fade away, just like the other ones.

Yeah, I think that’s about right toon kk. He’s certainly been guilty of too often not giving his managers enough to work with, whether it be sufficient quality, depth or balance. Hopefully enough fan’s will continue to stay away to encourage him to seriously attract a buyer. Having said that, the squad is starting to look more competitive, which is always more likely the longer you stay up, and may indicate he has finally realized a short blanket will inevitably take you down. Still it’s one thing knowing it, and another in successfully and consistently building capable squads.

then when people asked mad tony if he was from dinnington, maybe they were ashleys assasins. perhaps theyve bumped him off as he hasnt been on for a while. anyone been missing? could be dozens killed.

toon22. you seem a bit of a conspiracy theorist (which isnt a bad thing) and are displaying the paranoia that often goes with it. ashleys people went to genjikai and the old lady probably as revenge for going to charnleys. they have may found him through his season ticket otherwise who knows. most big businesses would do market research and read blogs to gauge the mood so maybe hes gave details away on here such as being from wardley which isnt a big place. ashley seems petty and vindictive so its not a huge surprise hed stoop so low. but theyre not going to show up to your house just because you dont believe the takeover. but if you disappear suddenly ill call miss marple.

its because NY Mag is one of the minority
of logical thinkers on here. most others are emotional thinkers. so NY wants cold hard facts while others just say whatever they feel and gut instinct is all the proof they need and facts, logic and reason mean little to nothing.

Hey Jib, I saw your bucket list comment earlier today. 🙂

I’m looking at a guided tour of Portugal and Spain – the stops in Portugal are Lisbon and Evora. In Spain it goes to Seville, Ronda, Cordoba, Costa del Sol, Granada and Malaga. Would that do Andalucia justice, in your opinion?

Bruce is like an ugly bloke with a hot girlfriend who lets her walk all over him because he knows its a miracle he got her. Rafa was like a stud who can take his pick and got lumbered with a crazy demanding girlfriend. Of course Bruce isnt whining, hes on cloud 9 and only miraculously got this job because hes a geordie.

Sounds like a good holiday. Spains one of the gems of Europe. I love the Spanish people – so relaxed and friendly.
Seville, Cordoba and Grenada are beautiful places. Malaga is a fun city and if you like beaches Costa del Sol has numerous good ones. Im not a beach person myself, they all look the same to me. Sounds like a good blend of heritage and beaches. You might even meet blog celebrity Jib out there.
My bucket list is Alaska/ Alberta (Canada) at the moment.

if you had to choose Bruce as manager for life or Ashley as chairman for life what would it be? id say Bruce because once every ten or fifteen years Ashley will stumble upon a decent manager for a season or so. Bruce will always be poo.

What a two faced frog toon22 is.

Without any proof other than his rabid imagination he tells the world that Jib is Lee Marshall.

And then, when NY Mag asks if he has read a previous post right that he is from Sacriston he sets off on one big blood vessel bursting rant claiming that NY is out to find him and duff him up.

Words almost fail me for once.

Talk about don’t give it if you can’t take it.

toon22 and his Lee Marshall ‘outing’ was a vindictive deliberate attack on Jib.

NY Mag simply asked a question.

I think toon22’s rabid response says a lot about the person behind the frog.
