Six Magpies Are Handed Starts For Their Loan Clubs

Freddie Woodman continued in the net for Swansea despite conceding four goals at Hull City last Friday. This time he let just one by in a 3-1 win at home against Huddersfield. The win was their first in six matches in the league. It moves Swansea to 9th in the table just 5 points adrift from a playoff place.

Jacob Murphy was handed a start for Sheffield Wednesday at Birmingham this afternoon. The 24-year-old had been resigned to late cameos during the last three matches. Murphy banged in a goal for either side in the 3-3 draw. Unfortunately for Murphy, he started off the scoring for Birmingham when a corner went off him into the back of the net. He redeemed himself with a strike to put the Owls up 3-2 in the 65th minute. However, Birmingham found a leveler in stoppage time to claim a share of the spoils.

Rotherham’s Dan Barlaser made his 13th straight start in the league at a former club in Accrington Stanley this afternoon. The Millers got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory. Dan got his fifth assist of the season on a 65th-minute corner that was headed in by Freddie Ladapo. Stanley answered a minute later on a goal by Jordan Clark. However, Rotherham found a winner in stoppage time to stay top of the Championship on goal difference over Coventry, who have a game in hand.

Rolando Aarons started for the fifth consecutive match in all competitions for Motherwell this afternoon. They drew 0-0 at Hamilton after going down a man in the 37th minute after Christopher Long received his second booking. Aarons was replaced by Jermaine Hylton in the 76th minute. The point sees Motherwell reclaim the important third spot in the Scottish Premiership.

Kelland Watts got another start for Mansfield as they lost 1-0 at Cheltenham. Watts has started every game since joining the Stags on loan. This was the first time he has not played the full ninety minutes as he was replaced in the 86th minute. Despite the defeat, Mansfield are still five points above the bottom two.

Achraf Lazaar made a rare start for Cosenza in their 2-0 loss at home to Frosinone yesterday. It was just Lazaar’s third start and the first one in which he played the entire 90 minutes. In total, the 28-year-old has only seven appearances for 244 minutes for the Serie B club.

Jail, you are beyond ignorant. Jib apologised, and was big enough to do so. As for geordies having low expectations re managers because of having bad ones in the past, this isn’t bigotry.

    You moron.

Apparently you need to score goals in the PL to win games. Is it not the same in that other division you’ve spent the best part of the last five years in Stevie boy?

I reckon the Burnley game could have a sub 40k attendance next week. I for one won’t be watching anymore of our games this year as I am an unreasonable fan and would like to see us have a few shots on target every now and then. Great news about Sky not broadcasting many of our fixtures in the next few months. I bet Mike is gutted!!! HAHA

I wouldn’t even mind spending a few seasons in the Championship if it meant Ashley losing money. My hatred of the FCB is starting to exceed my love of NUFC, oops or should I say SDFC.

Im sure the prem love the total lack of fans in our ground nowdays
The utter lack of any kind of excitement to exploit globally
Were having to give tickets away to get people in the ground to ” sit through” whats on offer

You can be sure the prem will make very sure if we arnt relegated this year next we will
They want something they can sell
    We aint it
    We dont try
    Weve lost our fans
Theres plenty of clubs in the fizzy pop who will cause a commotion they can exploit

Our days of being a entertaining club are so very gone

You think they will find 20/30 k people who want to support the toon while they are playing the worst football in the clubs history ?
Or get people in on the cheap and pretend alls well

They are going to find these “new” fans wont sit through the rubbish on offer
A dirt cheap ST wont mean squat to them
Itll be a sell out with 20 k ish in the ground

I was thinking about Chris Hughton but I suppose even bringing back Charlton Heston back as a zombie to assist Brucie could be a step in the right direction.

Ashley has exploited the fans for way too long and now we’re all, gradually, walking. Maybe relegation wouldn’t be such a bad thing. What difference does it make in anyways? We have zero ambition. I can absolutely guarantee Ashley would walk away from this club as soon as it starts losing money.

What next, is Ashley going to tell Bruce how to win over the fans?

    You couldn’t make it up.

As far as I could see his feet were behind the last defender but he was leaning forward which put him offside, they really need to look at the offside rule as it stands it’s ridikulus!

Can you see know why i go on about that court case and the HMRC
In my opinion if the supreme court backs them handing over those documents its game over for Jabba
Which will mean he is gone from our club without a real say

He wont leave while he has a say in the sale

Its all down to the supreme courts judgement now
