Yup, Dimming of the Day really does it for me.

Saw her in Brighton about 10 years ago and what a gutsy performer though still referring, fondly to Lowell George.

Sixties music? It’s unusual for a girl of your tender years to he listening to RnR.

I too like the stuff but not the British versions, never could get away with them.

Being a zillion years older than you, I was lucky enough to see the likes of Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Gene Vincent et al.

    Still love it.

Surely the day shift doesn’t expect the night shift to provide entertainment for it? Or maybe it does!

You’re getting into serious territory with Van.

Saw him at the Agogo when he was ‘Them’, the City Hall with the ‘Too Late to Stop Now’ tour, the Metro Arena with a special guest – Ray Charles, and Brighton when as ever, his act was timed to the minute.

A surly man but what a performer and writer.

On a completely different topic (and not football related )
I was just watching the news here.
NY state now has the highest confirmed COVID cases in the US (overtaken Washington state) and has declared a state of emergency….scary stuff

    Absolutely live that song.

That’s my Dad’s influence he’s always had music on. He doesn’t play anything just loves his tunes.

My uncle has been in various local bands doing pubs etc.

And I’ve always liked buskers nights, some incredible talent to be found there.

The virus seems to be spreading like wildfire. Italy’s on lockdown, Tromp’s in denial and Bowis is still insisting the UK shouldn’t panic and keep up with washing our hands while singing happy birthday to you.

    Don’t panic, don’t panic

    Droppy,

I’m sure there are people far worse off than me (so I don’t want to appear a drama queen)
    But, it’s kinda stalking me….

I was in Italy and two weeks later they declared an emergency, I was in NY and a week later they declared an emergency.

So far, no cases in Michigan………but I’m getting ready to leg-it just in case.
