There now, you’ve given yourself away. I saw them at the Maj (the Majestic) in 62/ 63 or whenever then erred towards the Stones.

I remember the queue for tickets for the Beatles’s City Hall gig – people slept out all night.

Given your history, you mightn’t be too welcome in Newcastle if it got out

    😉

Must have been 1962. Seen them Roy Orbison as top of the bill. Seen them again when they topped the bill. Gerry and the Pacemakers were on also. Honestly I can’t remember queueing for the tickets. I don’t know how I was allowed to go. Had a very strict upbringing.

Well lady and gentlemen, it’s time for me to retire. I’ve been doing some physical work and am knackered.

Oh, and if the day shift complains about the craic, just refer the complainants to the Blog’s Customer Relations Department.

    G’night all.

That wouldn’t surprise me. It seems you’re between a rock and a hard place. If you can, just lie low and be safe.

No, I didn’t see Haley at all. Must’ve been a helluva bash – that would’ve been about the time when seats were ripped out by the teds.

You weren’t a ted, surely not.

The only gig I saw at the Odeon was The Who. Me sat in the circle right next to a bank of speakers along with a mouth suffering the effects of a tooth extraction and the injection wearing off. Yup I had a sore head after that but a helluva gig it was.

    And……. I missed the night-shift (again).

Pn the Cvid stuff, I was talking to a nurse on Friday, apparently all the hospitals are full of people being “monitored” here, if you have a high temp coming through the airport they take you there and that’s that – seems a bit strange, they take 100 people and 1 is infected – then 100 people get infected….

    What do i know anyway?

I’m with NYMag btw, I reckon we’ll get three points this weekend too (so that’s the kiss of death on that then).

    Micky,

Me personally – I would start gayle, he missed chances, but he was in the position to miss chances……goals will come.

The Lazaro one is more difficult – that’s experience over talent…..I don’t know on that one.

I’d start them both. Not entirely convinced about Danny Rose though, looks lethargic and can’t be bothered, as if he’s going through the motions.

However as I don’t think we have a better option there:-

    Dubs
    Manq, Fede, Lascelles, Rose
    Hayden, Shelvey, Lazarro
    Almiron ASM
    Gayle
