Newcastle’s FA Cup Quarter-Final Date Has Been Confirmed

Newcastle’s FA Cup quarter-final date and time have been confirmed. We will face Manchester City at St James Park on Saturday the 21st of March at 7pm.

This will cause two of Newcastle’s fixtures to be rescheduled. Our match against Aston Villa at St James Park has been postponed. It was initially scheduled for the 21st of March.

The FA Cup semi-finals are likely to take place on the 18th of April. Therefore our match at the Etihad against Manchester City scheduled for that date has also been postponed.

Either the Magpies or the Citizens will be playing at Wembley that weekend. Hopefully, we won’t be the ones who are idle.

That last thread was fun. Preppers, stockpiles, squirrels a little bit of football.

And even an appearance from that kid who’s obviously banned from using his Xbox again.

I;ll take a bit of positive vibes so Droppy. Sky ran a programme about the preppers a couple of years ago. Fascinating stuff – some were pretty rich and had state of the art places to live, underground. Others had their kids seriously well trained in the use of guns and were waiting for the ruskies.

I’ve seen a few docs about them, they are certainly committed to what they believe in. Fair play to them

So Max von Sidow’s had enough eh.

Coincidentally, I watched The Longest Day last night, for the umpteenth time. His usual German officer role among many big names.

Totally gutted about the Ko time for the QF of the cup.
It could of been shown on Sat afternoon, or anytime on a Sunday, but no, had to be shown exactly the same time as The Who gig at the Arena, which i have tickets for and have been looking forward to ,.
    What a bummer

Just watched last match highlights on Sky Go – amazing being back in the real world ?

We looked good apart from the finishing, although they was some outstanding saves.
ASM – hats off for the crucial winner and the cool flip celebration

Just catching up on the blog as I’ve been out in the sticks with no wifi signal. Much needed win on Saturday with Maxi showing his pace and predatory instincts . This lad’ll be special as he’s improving all the time as he gets used to the PL.

EGB …… I noted your disapproval of posters having their blog names tinkered with. Surely someone as deliberately provocative as Numster or Sternum if you prefer can’t have too many complaints the amount of leg pulling he does?

Jane I’ve been looking up the table for weeks, not that it’s done any good. Not concerned about the drop, however.

On the other hand, always want villa to lose.

If I was from the West Midlands I’d definitely be a Baggie.

Well done for today up to this point ..your behaving yourself …good!

Now remember don’t make asides or reference to the folks you have had arguments with in the past..its those little asides and digs at the end of a sentence that gets people upset .

Clean slate .. Keep it up .

Was hoping the man city game would be either Friday, Sunday or Saturday day time. I’m due at a fiftieth birthday of an old friend the Saturday night.

I could pretend to be ill and sneak along to SJP, but he’d know the craic.

    Gutted!

You obviously missed this little lapse

    Munster,

Your opening words from and earlier thread:

‘Probably best to clear up a few things here for some of the less intelligent’

And you wonder why people kick back at you?

Get a grip man, control yourself.

Early days but praise and credit where it’s due – he’s trying

This whole mayweather bid is a load of rubbish must be a slow news day I’m guessing. Although it would have its benefits too (apart from ridding us from MA obvs) imagine SJP being used for ppv box office fights, the crowds and the money it would generate. Also someone seeing it from a commercial aspect eg concerts, it would be a massive benefit to the city and local economy
