Newcastle United have confirmed that Martin Dubravka has suffered a knee injury that will keep him out until at least April.
#NUFC can confirm that goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka suffered a knee injury in Saturday's Premier League win at Southampton. ?

This is devastating news as Martin has been our player of the season. He has also made 79 straight starts for Newcastle in the Premier League since joining in January of 2018.
Steve Bruce will now turn to Karl Darlow with Rob Elliot as the back up for at least our next two matches. We face Sheffield United this Saturday and then comes the FA Cup match against Manchester City, where Darlow may have been given the nod even if Dubravka was fit.
So hopefully, the Slovakian will miss just the one Premier League match and be back for our trip to Bournemouth in the first week of April. Martin will also miss Slovakia’s EURO qualifier against the Republic of Ireland on the 26th of March.
