“If season resumes mid June say
And the Toon are back in training and one of the players goes down with Covid 19 and the players who have not had have to go into quarantine”

maybe it won’t be necessary to quarantine then.

“Newcastle United are in very good financial shape yet are one of only a handful of clubs to take the furlough route.”

    is that good or bad?

Aye it’s true about Bruce moving back to the family home in Cheshire, but the fact it’s the family means it doesn’t have any bearing on anything that is or isn’t happening.

There’s some guy on your favourite social media platform claiming that Rafa is nailed on to return blah blah blah.

    Jane,

This is a bit out of date (because it’s from the last accounts)

    Playing squad,academy,coaching staff and support = 152
    Business operations = 119
    Matchday stewards = 460

It’ll be like a surprise xmas for me if he does sell.

Not buying the Rafa link, he was great imo but I can’t see him being what the supposed new owners would want.

Why not bring Keegan back like Ashley did? Joke…

Most fans want rid of Ashley so that would be enough to please most without a trip down memory lane.

I think the Rafa ship has sailed and would prefer a different manager if we got serious investors as owners.

OP if you’re still around, that show on history starts on wed 22nd April.

On football the talk about Rafa returning, well the most important thing for our club is getting rid of MA and a new owner. Who ever they want as manager is fine whether that be Bruce, Rafa even mick bloody McCarthy. Hopefully those takeover hopefuls are correct as I know we all nufc deserve some positive luck

Rafa back would mean “el proyecto” back, and considering Stavely, the Reubens and the Saudi PIF know next to nothing about running the football side of the business of running a football club, and Rafa certainly does, I’d certainly be reassured if he did return.

I think the return of Rafa would be too divisive amongst fans and we’d be better off uniting in turning against the next guy 😮

Isn’t life strange, I said I’d never go back to SJP while Ashley was there, we got invited to the box this Friday against W Ham, I said I couldn’t go, the Mrs wasn’t happy at all I was supposed to go back to work next Tuesday but have to go this Friday instead, if football wasn’t cancelled she’d have never believed I had to go to work early!
