Report – Newcastle Tracking The Son Of Former Middlesbrough And Sunderland Midfielder

This past January Newcastle brought in a couple of youngsters to boost their Academy. We signed 16-year-old Reagan Thomson from Queen’s Park and brought in Stan Flaherty, who was not offered a contract at Arsenal.

Flaherty had been on trial with Newcastle in October before deciding to join during the winter window. Newcastle fended off both Celtic and Rangers to capture Thomson, a Scotland U17 international. Both midfielders linked up with Newcastle’s U18 team.

Newcastle also brought in three free agents in the summer for the U23 team in Kyle Scott, Jake Turner, and Ludwig Francillette. We expect this trend to continue this summer with the club adding a couple of promising youngsters.

Calum Kavanagh– Newcastle tracking promising forward

The Sun are reporting that Newcastle are one of four Premier League clubs chasing Middlesbrough forward Calum Kavanagh. Celtic are also said to be tracking the 16-year-old.

Kavanagh is being pursued by some of the Premier League’s elite with Chelsea, Arsenal, and Leicester City being linked. So Newcastle have their work cut out for them if they want to land the young striker.

Kavanagh is the son of former Ireland international Graham Kavanagh, who also played at Middlesbrough in the early 90s. He had a stint with Sunderland in the mid-2000s but only made 14 first-team appearances, spending much of his time out on loan.

The younger Kavanagh is currently a Republic of Ireland U17 international and has scored 6 goals in 13 appearances for the Middlesbrough U18s this term. He can play as a striker or on the left-wing and looks a promising prospect despite his father’s questionable pedigree. 🙂

    Repost.

Nice to see the name calling is still on going on here. Some people really do act like kids.

Liverpool and klopp have shown their decency and common sense unlike those others who have staff still on furlough. Nufc as a club is supposed to live within its means and in a great financial position, yet for the sake of 1 or 1.5 m pounds they have took advantage of a scheme intended for smaller businesses and the average Joe on the street. I could even see massive benefit for league 1 and 2 teams using it in order for them to survive nit for those with massive tv money contracts

Jail, fractured as in new wingers, new attackers, new midfielders, none of whom had been bought with any thought to how they may fit together as a team.

I’m sure we’ve had this conversation before. Pretty much the only settled unit was the back line / goalkeeper, the rest had to be forged into a team. By Bruce.

Well thats it sorted then. If the season is cancelled then there is no relegation for the Toon, hence a takeover guarenteed. Or is it ?

Some good black and white news

A baby panda may have been conceived at Ocean Park in Hong Kong while the zoo is in lockdown due to coronavirus.
Two resident pandas, Ying Ying and Le Le, managed to successfully mate on Monday morning – and they’ve been struggling for a while.
The zoo says the pandas have been making attempts since 2010 with little success, but managed to succeed through “years of trial and learning”.
With Ocean Park closed to the public, the pair made the most of the privacy.

So all these new players RobLeenio yet they could only play the same way as the way a manager who they hadn’t played for set them up.

I still think whenever football restarts you have to finish this season first otherwise the repercussions and lawsuits will just go on and on. When complete they can then decide what to do about next season even if it means a foreshortened season or no cups or whatever but at least this would be fair because everybody would know the conditions from the outset.

In the rugby Blaydon have been promoted to the next level so will have derby matches next season.
This must have been decided on some sort of formula to calculate where each team in the leagues would have finished based on actual and predicted results. Others relegated on this basis.

How long before the Premier League and Championship are decided on that basis.

Yeah i know m8, but can you remember just a few weeks back, the general opinion was, by those who believed a takeover was happening, that as soon as we secured our EPL status, then we will be sold. . i hope so, its another positive. No stupid rumours flying about , unlike the last takeover farce.

WLtoon I do hope so. However we have this odious and liar of an owner who I hope will for once, live up to his own words and sell to somebody who can take the club forward.

Either that or this constant bickering on here will remain for as long as MA does or ed neil decide to close it down.

Got to admit the bickering on here is like being back in nursery school. I dont get involved with it, im pretty laid back, and have far more things to worry about than someone elses opinion on this site.

You are right about Ashley, you just never know what stunt he is going to pull next, i just hope like everybody else, that its the end of the line for the horrible cnut

A blonde went to the appliance store sale and found a bargain. “I would like to buy this TV,” she told the salesman. “Sorry, we don’t sell to blondes,” he replied. She hurried home and dyed her hair, then came back and again told the salesman “I would like to buy this TV.” “Sorry, we don’t sell to blondes,” he replied. “Darn, he recognized me,” she thought. She went for a complete disguise this time, haircut and new color, new outfit, big sunglasses, then waited a few days before she again approached the salesman. “I would like to buy this TV.” Sorry, we don’t sell to blondes,” he replied. Frustrated, she exclaimed “How do you know I’m a blonde?” “Because that’s a microwave,” he replied

Jail, you really do labour a point at times.

The defensive unit was the only settled unit we had when Bruce came, so he relied on that unit to provide stability for the team and get some positive early results.

He based his strategy around the strongest part of the team, which is actually a sensible and logical way to do things. He also apparently worked on a new strategy which was designed to get us on the front foot, but wasn’t able to implement it early in the season, as evidenced by poor results at Norwich and Leicester. When he implemented it in more recent matches, it bore fruit quite well.

I’m not sure how you can reinterpret this timeline, but feel free to try, I’ll not hold it against you. Peace!

A blonde walks up to a Coke machine and puts in a coin. Out pops a coke.
The blonde looks amazed and runs away to get some more coins.
She returns and starts feeding the machine madly and, of course, the machine keeps feeding out drinks.
Another woman walks up behind the blonde and watches her antics for a few minutes before asking if someone else could have a go.
The blonde spins around and shouts in her face, ‘Can’t you see I’m winning?’

A blonde wanted to take up a new hobby so decided to take up ice fishing. She got all of the equipment and set off to start her new hobby. She found a piece of ice and cut a small circular hole in it. On went the maggot on then end of her fishing rod and in went the rod into the water. Minutes later a voice came from above which said “there are no fish under the ice!” Confused she moved futher down the patch of ice that she had found. Once again, she cut a small circular hole in to the ice and in went her rod. Once again a booming voice made her jump. “there are no fish under the ice!” Confused she stuttered “God, God is that you?” “No this is not God, this is the manager of the ice rink!”

Geordietom “dont do twitter to many people put shite on to get their hits up imo…”

If you don’t do twitter, how can you have an opinion on how people behave on there? I find you just have to take everything with a pinch of salt, wherever you find it – on here included.

Bravo for that gesture to your elderly neighbour, btw. Good on you and your missus.

Just saying it wasn’t a fractured squad. That is like saying every time a team buys players they are joining a fractured squad. Managers integrate new players, that’s what they do and are always asking for new ones.

A blond guy and a brunette girl were happily married and about to have a baby. One day, the wife started having contractions, so the husband rushed her to the hospital. He held her hand as she went through a trying birth. In the end, there were two little baby boys.
The blond guy turned to his wife and angrily said, “All right, who’s the other father!?!
