Newcastle Fan Group Promise A Return – If Takeover Successful – It’s All Coming Together

We have always been impressed with the caliber and maturity of the Wor Flags group.

What they do takes a lot of work and effort, and sometimes they have gone unacknowledged.

In the last year or two, they have done a great job in creating flags for the Gallowgate end, and they were really a sight to see  – a sight to behold.

But at the beginning of the season, it appeared Mike Ashley had all but forced Rafa Benitez out of the club, and they suspended operations.

The group expressed disappointment at the stubborn owner for losing a world-class manager. After all, there are not too many of them around.

However, with fresh hope and a new era likely on the horizon with the Amanda Staveley led bid to buy Newcastle, it looks like they will be making a big comeback.

This is what they tweeted late last week on their potential comeback – when a fan Dane (@DJ__NUFC) asked if they would be returning if the takeover is successful.

Sounds good great to us.

The concern is, of course, the lockdown and when football will be resuming.

Somehow I just cannot see this season being able to complete because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Can’t wait to see Wor Flags back when the footy starts up again (assuming the takeover has happened at that point).

What a great contribution they made to the club.

I’d also like to see the singing section reinstated, safe standing implemented too in certain areas. Anything that could help to improve the atmosphere inside SJP would be welcome.

Im looking forward to seeing the flags back, an amazing site to see even for the neutrals , im in favour of safe standing but does,nt that reduce the capacity by quite a hefty percentage.

Haha Jail. I’ve still take great care of that parrot jacket. My son borrowed it recently to go skiing. I have to admit he wasn’t very impressed.
