NUFC Fans React To Reporter’s ‘Imminent’ Tweet

Sports correspondent John Richardson has issued the following tweet claiming that an official announcement on the Newcastle takeover is imminent.

Richardson is a NUFC fan and won news reporter of the year at the 2018 British Sports Journalism Awards while writing for the Sunday Mirror.

Needless to say, we are all exhausted with reports of when an announcement will be made. However, Richardson has remained mostly quiet on the takeover until today’s tweet.

The frustration of waiting for the confirmation of the takeover coupled with the excitement of it being close was reflected in the responses to Richardson’s tweet.

PCP dont have that much money, reubens might have the money but I’d doubt it as most of there wealth is calculated on what they own.

Watford’s Adrian Mariappa confirms he has coronavirus – didn’t know a thing about it until the test

Imagine if Troy Deeney had returned to training and touched the same entrance gate?????

    Not gonna work this like

Unless they plead the false positive cover up

I know Sperz fans said Danny Rose had mental health issues
Watching him on that podcast I fear they could be right.

Danny rose has come out and talked about his mental health issues, he’s also discussed football and how it’s a job for him but he wont miss it when he walks away from the sport.

He can do a job for us for remainder of season but hopefully we dont trigger a move for him.

They disinfect everything, so deeney touching the same gate would’ve been fine.

Have you not been watching the testing process ?

Players drive to a test station stay in their car then go home where 2 days later they are told the results

Adrian Mariappa is now self isolating

At no point would he have had the remotest possibility of contacting Deeney

    It’s imminent when it happens
I’m getting more and more doubtful by the day.
Delaying tactics it seems to me
    Hope Im wrong
