Report – Newcastle Contact The Representatives Of Premier League Winger

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Newcastle have contacted the representatives of Liverpool winger Xherdan Shaqiri to sound out a summer move.

The 28-year-old has featured sparingly this season for Jurgen Klopp’s league-topping side, leading to speculation that he’ll be moved on this summer.

The Swiss international has made just 10 appearances in all competitions, including only 2 starts in the Premier League. The winger has played just 1 minute for Liverpool since starting a 2-0 win against Watford at Anfield.

Shaqiri (pictured above) was the topic of transfer speculation in January with both Roma and Sevilla making inquiries. However, Klopp kept the stocky winger at Anfield for cover.

He did make 30 appearances last season after a surprising £13.5m move from relegated Stoke City in the summer. However, this season he’s struggled with injury and a lack of appearances.

Newcastle were linked with Shaqiri during the summer of 2015 while he was at Inter Milan. He ended up making a £15m move to Stoke while Newcastle brought in Graham Carr favorite Florian Thauvin from Marseille.

Shaqiri is a talented player when he’s switched on but was often a frustrating figure at Stoke. He’s definitely got moments of class in him and could be a decent option for Newcastle this summer.

More vitriol towards the Saudi takeover that only seems to affect our club ……but there is no agenda, obviously the other businesses that the Saudis have purchased recently are immune to criticism ,mainly due to their location (not Newcaste)

This investigation started in 2018 so the people buying the club would be well aware of the issue

It is unclear who owns beoutQ or where it is based. It was launched shortly after the boycott and has illegally broadcasted World Cup soccer matches as well as Hollywood entertainment.

Saudi officials say Riyadh is committed to fighting piracy – in June they said the kingdom had confiscated 12,000 pirating devices.

Bigbob, don’t kid yourself, Saudi are 100% responsible for the piracy. Whether it connects to our named suggested chairman is the only salient fact, and they can’t possibly be such chumps as to have made a schoolboy error like that, though I regret to say they have in the past lied their face off and tried to deny they were doing the piracy, blaming anybody they could think of, Cuba I’ve read, so we know they’re not pure as the driven snow. But we always knew that.

Shaqiri may not be the best choice of player to add to the team under new owners.

But if we were comparing him to what we have now he would be a good addition.

We don’t have anyone in the team right now that we can trust to take a good corner or free kick consistently. He would immediately improve that.

This is now beyond belief, only at NUFC could this happen. I really hope its a load of bullshit but for fks sake how long now. Its like they are waiting for an opportunity to break us. Surely it a piss take, any other club it would’ve been signed sealed and delivered. Sorry for the pessimism.

You are doing the same as very other idiot
    You say
Saudi are 100% responsible for the piracy
    You should say
Somebody in Saudi Arabia is 100% responsible for the piracy

I get most of my illegal streams from the Netherlands
No way could you say Holland are 100% responsible for the piracy.

Do not worry. The deal goes through as soon as the EPL deem our new owners have passed the O & D ‘ s test, and I can promise you, the EPL haven’t got the balls to knock back the multi milllions of pounds coming their and our way. There is n’t any doubt.

except you seem to ignore the fact Holland is a free country, and Saudi is 100% controlled by the House of Saud, which a few years ago named the foolish MBS as Crown Prince. He knows everything and controls everything.

Aye we’ll definitely need Harry Kane if this doesn’t go through and it’ll it eat up our transfer budget for a few years to come. Mind at least it’ll mean we are guaranteed 30 consecutive passes if we sign Harry.
We can put him on Mastermind.

Is our soon to be new owner responsible for everything that happens in Saudi and is he the only business man in the country

The arabsat satellite is owned by about 10 different countries so if this fails I’m sure all other teams owners will have to be disqualified

Does this mean sheff utd are also responsible for piracy

I don’t think this means much, it is always down to the individuals becoming Directors, not the Country they are from. The Guardian will stop at nothing to derail this takeover due to their extreme views.

I am still about 20/80 in it going through though.

Is spot on, if Saudi’s are knocked back here they invest in another club in another league, French or Spanish league. The PL wont want 2 state owned clubs in france, nor will they want such money going spain.

There’s no way this takeover gets blocked man!!

If the premier league received this info on May 11th, it explains why it’s taken a bit longer nothing else.

George Caulkin insists no red flags and we’re very nearly there.

Craig Hope, proven liar and notorious click bait pimp, says there’s big problems.

The only things I wouldn’t like about signing Shaqiri is that a: He looks like a Harry Enfield character, not that I’ve got anything against Harry Enfield characters mind and b: That it help strengthen Lpool’s transfer kitty as they’re bound to make a massive profit on him.
