“Jane did the last group lend her 150 mill.”

that document is the main difference but even the lawyers aren’t clear what that’s about.

    Jail,

The couple of journos i do know insist they had one to one (via Skype) with her, whether they print them, whether they are allowed to, whether they made the whole thing up, how would I know? Both are plausible, one you may have heard of, I’m fairly sure you won’t have heard of the other.

All I have ever said (in this respect) on this blog is stuff I hear, from people I trust aren’t making stuff up like a shed load of tweeters.

We shall see – I’m still confident it will go through, just bored with it all now to be fair.

Takeover coming sure as eggs are eggs, 100% happening. Timing? Not a clue. Patience is the word, because it will CERTAINLY be worth waiting for!

With you 9, I’d reckon some of these players and managers we’ve been linked with (or their agents) would’ve come out and said the link was laughable if it didn’t have legs. That’s what I hope anyway.

When do we reckon footy will restart? Summer footy 3 years in a row premiered, euros, world cup …. Shite its in winter thanks to our (non) friendly qataris. Another reason for them to be on the list.

Ooh god Chops is on Steve Wraiths YouTube tomorrow at 6pm. That’s going to be the best one yet, Chops is very vocal and never holds back or minces his words when it comes to Ashley.

I know it’s not night shift yet but I’m watching the series “Fred”, about Fred Dibnah the Steeplejack, from 1982 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnH7cw0ql1I

Life was a bit different then eh?

Really disappointed there has been no announcement this week, it does,nt look like we will get one any time soon tbh.
We are no further forward than we were a month ago, in fact i would say its not looking a certainty any more.
The end of next week will be 2 months since the checks started. If we dont get the nod by then, its not going to end well imo.
Really hope im wrong, i want to hear its done by next Friday at the latest.
The BZG announced a deal was done last year, it was plastered all over the tabloids, then nothing was heard again.
The Sauidi,s announced it was a done deal in the middle east 10 days ago and we have heard nothing since.
If this deal is done, announce it, for every ones sake. Stop fcuking about

I’m with you on this, it’ll happen. Patience is key and as we said yesterday it’s the most complicated potential takeover deal PL has had to preside over, its not going to happen as quick as we would all like it to or had hoped to.

Everybody with a gripe with nufc or the Saudis is using the takeover to have a dig at us

I’m ignoring it all, not clicking on any articles, including the one above.

I have set my only notification to be George caulkin the one source I trust with facts only.

Until then it is all just noise and tantrums especially from gorilla mits.

Well it’s official the Takeover has definitely been called off. Apparently it’s because of the weather but they are going to try again on Saturday. Can’t take any risks I suppose with all that fuel and two astronauts on a demo launch. Sorry did I say takeover? What am i like eh? Takeoff. Takeoff is cancelled. Sorry for the misunderstanding, carry on.

The point im making is their takeover was as real , if not more than this one for the short time it was covered. Yellow Just In feeder stream on SSN, it was a done deal in many of the papers, all over Twitter, congrats flying about all over the knot end in the middle east etc, and fans believed it was the real deal.
The same announcements, DONE DEAL, were made in Saudi a week gone Friday, yet we have heard nothing since.
Its the same scenario kinda repeating itself, only this time im hoping for a completely different outcome.

A nice quote from that Guardian piece actually. Sums up the problem they’ll have sticking the piracy to the PIF.

“They say, although it may sound like semantics, there is a clear legal separation between PIF and the government. Moreover, any individual Saudis subject to the Premier League tests have no capacity to control broadcast piracy.”

And though the Crown Prince is in fact the chairman of PIF, he could well step aside for deals to go through. I would doubt the PL want a legal battle with the consortium. Staveley will want her 10% for all the work gone in.. And this is a woman that is suing Barclays, she won’t be afraid of the PL.

Reading that article says two thing to me

Do the prem want to take sides ?
Who would they think would benefit them most ?

Simply put i would think it would mean the Saudis will be asked to bid for prem TV rights and let the two sides get into a bidding war

If the prem say no they are in the clarts with the government and probably the courts
If they say yes they will be under fire from people who mostly dont watch football and are only interested in the politics, but with a payoff of a massive influx of cash and a probable tv rights bidding war

    See the choice here ?
