Comment #41Got to admit that i`m getting fed up of the bitchyness on here too. A blog is about opinions, how boring would it be if everyone agreed with each other, there would be nowt to discuss after 10 mins.

That’s why I think we need to take the profit away. I hope the fan protests return soon and we can find another way, because I think a legal case is unlikely. I remember a few on here saying they get involved in the protests and they seemed to be generallly well received.

Would that be grounds to have him removed? I guess it would maybe be seen as fraud?

Comment #47KV theres a simple enough protest thats very effective
Just dont go to the match, it hurts him more than he is ever willing to admit
If we get relegated hes going to find that we arnt coming straight back up next time, he wont have the fans behind him
Lets hope he goes to prison before that happens though

Comment #51What i’v never understood with the slug, why not allow the club to make more money through better sponsors, better shirt deals and better hospitality/corporate events (concerts etc) ,he could have raped the club for more money….?
Unless he has been trousering backhanders from the sponsors etc………anyway, hes on his last legs with our club IMHO, the sooner the better for me

I think now’s the time to pull the plug on him for the finances. He’ll have taken a big hit from lockdown and if his profits drop this year he’ll sell for sure. We have to make sure this happens BEFORE we are relegated though. Nobody’s likely to invest as much in a championship club. We don’t want to harm the team, just the profits.

Years ago an Ashington bloke won £250,000 on the Pools.
Bobby’s wife had always dreamed of having her own hairdressing shop and they duly opened one with bells and whistles on the high street.
On opening day Bobby went down to see how it was going and there was an owld lassie waiting her turn.
“Worra ya wantin” said Bobby.
“A nice perm” said the the lassie.
“Nee botha” said Bobby ” Ah wendered lonely as a cloud, owa fields ah daffodils”.

Comment #55not sure rugby on the same pitch will do the playing surface much good especially in winter.
“Brentford Community Stadium is a stadium currently under construction in Brentford, West London with a projected capacity of 17,250. It is planned to be the new home of Brentford F.C. and London Irish rugby club.”

I had a look at the prem rules ages ago, they are stricter than the champion ship ones
Fraud is a good one, that disqualified straight off the bat
Theres a bunch of new offenses that could shift him, helping people avoid paying tax is one of them
point is once hes in court facing the possibility of not being able to own us he has no hand to play, he will be prevented from running us via proxy. Yes he could try some elaborate scheme to run via some back door arrangement but if court is deep dodo for both parties
Might end up in prison time for both of them
Going off his past actions id guess he would try and bend the rules to favor him, but he would be totally at the mercy of someone dodgy enough to play ball with the scheme

the north east i would of thought youve been round long enough to spot cretins like him. Is your bullshit radar not going off one bit?
Tell me when did all this go over board?? when the vegan entered the blog

Comment #64You also have to factor in the fact that the UK wants good relations with the Saudis
We need their money
If they are wanting to buy us enough, and are miffed enough at the mugging off they seem to be getting
I wouldnt be surprised if they are asked to give the guy a nudge in the right direction
IF he wont play nice he might find hes a small fish in a very, very large pond

Comment #77Mund strikes for the vegan fish and misses. “Who’s the next target?” He asks himself. “Ah Jane, there you are. Girls name, not the most popular poster, easy target.”
Be careful if he asks your favorite movie or what you had for breakfast Jane, if it’s not the same answers as him you’re not a real fan.
