i don’t think there will be any announcement from Amanda, Mike, PIF, FA that the takeover isn’t happening.
Mike can’t call Amanda a tyre kicker again. Amanda is too professional. FA and Saudis don’t comment.

Last day of the season could be tasty with Villa vs West Ham too.

Burnley are 8th too, wtf??? If we beat Bmouth, we go 3 points behind them and a possible place in europe, appreciate we have a few tricky games to come but we have to keep aiming for that.

Thats’ optimistic….have you seen who we still have to play ?

OK, Bournemouth & West Ham, we have a chance – but Spurz, Man City (member them?) and Liverpool will all be looking forward to seeing us.

Absolutely mate. I nearly posted earlier about how I think we should rotate from here on out with the relegation threat all-but gone, but then I stopped and thought about the gap the other side and we absolutely have to go for it from here. It’s a long shot from where we are but it could happen so we’ve got to give it a go for sure.

Just watched highlights of our game last night.

They focussed on the Schar penalty incident.
He made that push soooo obvious and it was the second push as the first one was not obvious enough.

Almost as if there was intent on making sure there was a penalty.
Almost has a bad smell about it…..

i know mate, City and Lpool will be unlikely to give us much but spurs are beatable, we beat them at their place remember.

We need something to aim for otherwise the games become meaningless, Brucey should be firing them up to keep in the hunt, 6 points from Bmouth and West Ham will put pressure on other teams too and they all have each other to play in the coming weeks.

On the subject of SJP what do you think of the Exeter City away strip, how can anyone look good in purple & yellow?

Spurs have only won 1 of their last 5 in the league. Jose didn’t even wait until the third season to go to pot this time. He’s like King Midas in reverse, everything he touches turns to dirt.

We have Watford and Brighton too so thats

    Watford – winnable
    Brighton – winnable
    West Ham – winnable
    bournemouth – winnable
    Spurs – winnable

and then City and Lpool unlikely.

no reason we cant win the first 4 and we have a chance vs Spurs. Could be 13 points there? we wouldnt be far off 8th with that return.

All good positive points – you’ll get a front seat on Cap’n bus 🙂

For me though, times have changed, it’s not like when we played them before etc….we’re a bit deshevellled, Covid, Ashley, and especially the takeover is getting to the lads (same as us!!!).

If we can just put things aside, agreed, we have a fighting sprit and some invention and players – we can get those results.

I’m just sceptical that we can. – I want it, but don’t think it’s there.

Mike Ashley has told a delegation representing #nufc players that he wants to sell and has agreed a deal with Amanda Staveley, but the matter now lies with the Premier League. [Daily Mirror]

Make of it what you will, but it was also reported that Jamaal (representing the team) made a call to Fatso – is this a report of his reply?
