Bruce Makes Six Changes In Our Predicted Eleven For Bournemouth

This is the team we are predicting Steve Bruce to select for tomorrow’s match at Bournemouth. It has six changes from the FA Cup quarterfinal.

Steve Bruce admitted there would be changes during his press conference this morning. With four games in eleven days, he’ll have to start thinking about giving some players a rest.

In our prediction, Bruce will rest Allan Saint-Maximin, Isaac Hayden, and Javier Manquillo, who have started the last three matches. The head coach is also likely to go back to the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Andy Carroll retains his place, and Joelinton comes in on the left for Saint-Maximin. Miguel Almiron returns to the number 10 role and is one of four Magpies who will play four straight matches in our prediction. The others are all defenders in Danny Rose, Jamaal Lascelles, and Federico Fernandez.

Matt Ritchie still isn’t back to full strength after coming off against Aston Villa, so this is the perfect time to give Valentino Lazaro a game on the right.

Nabil Bentaleb gets his first start since the league resumed coming in for Isaac Hayden. Jonjo Shelvey returns to the midfield after resting against Manchester City.

Emil Krafth comes in for Manquillo at right-back. He still has not played since injuring his ankle at Everton in January.

Of course, Martin Dubravka resumes his place in goal in what would be his 82nd straight start in the Premier League for Newcastle.

I called a pal of mine a queer Cnut the other day because he’s mad as a hatter. If he thought I was calling him a gay he would have took the head off me shoulders.

Australian he really needs to play him and start him, before it’s too late we definitely need to see him play. But let’s be honest, if he can’t make his way onto the team in the first place its probably not a good sign.

@Our Toon: I hope you’re right, but if Masters is waiting for some grand action on the part of KSA, we could be waiting a while.

Perhaps I’m not giving the Prem enough credit, maybe they will realise that there’s only so much they can do and assurances are enough. Bugger knows they shouldn’t be getting involved in WTO disputes, or they’ll make a rod for their own back.

I do like you and have alot of time for you bud, sometimes you win by saying nothing at all.

We’ve all had debates with people that seem to never end, if 2 people want budge on something or constantly have conflict the best thing to do is ignore or come to an agreement that you’ll never agree on this and move on respectfully.

Reet I’m back off under the rock again. Have fun all and hopefully one day I’ll come on and this place will be conflict free……that takeover announcement day of course ?

    Our toon, Jail

I’m of similar opinion about KSA proving they’re proactively tackling piracy in the kingdom.

Only snag I see and this is from personal experience is, if the PL want a document signed by them like a contract, this could drag on and on. They are notorious for dragging arse when dealing with anyone!!!

Staveley has done amazing to get them to sign up for the deal, she’s probably been grafting on this for years bless her.

appreciate you saying that and i have a lot of time for you also

it does get tedious and it’s hard when your a northern lad who you know don’t take much shit but your right on what you say and it’s no good for the blog and i hate the thought of me coming across as a dick, which i know i am.

but for the sanity of everyone on the blog it has to come to a stop

Before I go, if Masters and PL wanted they had enough to go on to knock back the takeover on piracy alone….however a court case could follow from that decision.

The fact they’ve kept the takeover in play this long with all the negativity around them and PIF is in my opinion a good thing. If anything it shows they want the takeover to happen but want it to happen where all sides are appeased in someway, middle ground…..no party is thrilled but they all get a win of some sorts.

You’re right though that KSA wont do a complete 180 and keep jumping through hoops to appease them.

Its the Prem waiting for the oil in KSA to run out before making a decision?

Ashley said a sale would never be known about until it was done, is there anyone interested in football who doesn’t know about it?

Its a media circus with the potential to turn into a huge shit storm, it has Nufc written all over it 🙂

Be done by next week, Elvis down the chippy says so.

Anyone promoted to a position of power has a desire for more.
    Then they seek new challenges.
What better challenge than to take modern views to the northern stereotypes – and force them to change their ways.
Maybe, just maybe convince the powers that be to have them moderate this blog using their new gotten experience.

Clearly, we would be clever enough to notice said persons lack of knowledge on club, history, places, people and culture and try to prevent such injustice.

Or would we be happy to become just as the soft southern shandy drinkin’ bastids.

Yes, getting anything of substance out of the Middle East is like getting blood out of a stone, and they will never own up to anything remotely untoward. Of course they were taught all of this by the Brits! But they will have to be seen to be doing something meaningful on the piracy front. It just needs to be done so no one loses face.

Barnsley off the bottom of the champo after beating Blackburn 2-0.

I have a soft spot for Barnsley as my grandad played for them back in the day.
He played 3 seasons for them but got homesick.
Newcastle United offered him a contract and he turned them down.

Instead he went down the pit to graft because he had a young family starting and there was more money being a miner.

    My how times change.

Fancy seeing how young Lamptey does for Brighton tonight, he was epic vs Leicester, looked the best player on the pitch.

good on the ball, lightning quick, think chelsea may have screwed up letting him go – altho they do have Reece James tbf.
