Newcastle have made a decent to good return to the league getting 4 points our of the first two games – at home against the Blades and Aston Villa.
We would have taken that before the season restarted, having been held upon since March 13th.
But there was a little bit of a letdown on Sunday night in the FA Cup quarterfinals, when we didn’t really get going against Manchester City, made two mistakes and lost the game 2-0.
There’s a good chance for us tomorrow night to get all three points against the Cherries.

They are 3rd bottom on 27 points – level with West Ham United on points, but with an inferior goal difference of just 2 – so it’s very close in the relegation zone.
