NUFC Players Thank The Fans For Their Support During This ‘Strange’ Season

The doors were shut on this long and tumultuous season this past Sunday. While it finished on a sour note, it was far from an uneventful campaign. The fact that we’ll be back in just six weeks for another season in the Premier League means it was, at least in part, a successful season.

This was a season like no other with the pandemic and takeover speculation. In the end, it should not go unnoticed that the team consisted of a fantastic group of lads who got on with their jobs under very trying circumstances.

A few of the boys took to social media over the past few days to thank the fans for their support over the course of this campaign. Hopefully, we’ll see the bulk of them next season with a few new faces added to the mix.

    Northumbrian, Tynemouth

If you didn’t already know you’ll be delighted to learn that each of you shares your name with one of the long gone Shields ferries.

When they were in service, there was a third, Collingwood, but we don’t seem to have a poster of that name.

How long before a Collingwood posts.

Jail…..the very minute he took over i taught straight away we were going to be relagated .
But luckily for us dubs plus maxi had good a season and the ex managers well drilled defence and organisation didn’t get messed up until nearer the end of the season.
But if brucie is here next year and he puts his own tactics style into place i think we be favourites to go down.

Lesh, having only sat on ciu club committees and knowing how there board works I offered my opinion on that only.
As the prem board has voted on the restart etc it made sense to me that maybe (stressed) the prem board would have to work in a similar way.
If the prem members are not involved in anyway after masters said it was up to the board and not him only at the select committee meeting then that just seems a strange thing for him to say and also a strange system for the prem to work to.

    Give it a rest.

He has sprouted his crap for months and he was wrong if this was munster you would be all over him for him to hold his hands up and admit he was wrong and you were right.

    Don’t even deny that

till we see Amanda hold the shirt up in the centre circle it’s unfortunately still Ashley’s,
that will be the day to crow about who’s right or wrong,

I can just imagine Masters being really cheesed off after having to let the takeover go ahead but don’t be surprised if its well into next season and he let’s us struggle re transfers etc knowing ASHlie is a tight ass.

I understand what you’re saying and if it is the Prem Board that signs the recommendation off, you can bet your boots that doing so is endorsing the recommendation. The EPL surely wouldn’t risk putting a major and final decision in the hands of lay people.
