The Cowardly Premier League Refuse To Make The Tough Decision – They Save Themselves By Persuading Consortium To Pull Out

It was always going to be a tough decision for the Premier League, once they were given the takeover papers by Amanda Staveley on or around April 9th.

So what did they do, they waited and waited and waited and refused even in the end, to make a decision.

Either way, the knew their decision would be met with disdain.

If they OKd the Newcastle takeover, the human rights organizations and beIN Sports and others would have criticized them remorselessly.

If they said no, then Newcastle fans would ask why did it take so long (almost four months) when they eventually turned it down, and what was it turned down for?

But what did they do when they were put in a corner by letting the takeover drag on.

Not the brave and courageous thing that most good management teams would do and make an actual decision,  and do their job.

Premier League CEO Richard Masters – coward in chief

No, they persuaded the consortium to pull their bid and they saved themselves.

Phew – that was close – we almost were forced to do our job.

To be clear here is a definition of cowardice and coward:

“Cowardice is a trait wherein excessive fear prevents an individual from taking a risk or facing danger.”

“Cowardice is the opposite of courage. As a label, “cowardice” indicates a failure of character in the face of a challenge.”

“A coward – a person who lacks the courage to do or endure dangerous or unpleasant things. “they had run away—the cowards!”

“A coward – being excessively afraid of danger or pain.

They saved themselves from having to make a difficult decision

They saved themselves from having to say exactly how the consortium failed under their current rules in the owners’ and directors’ test.

And they saved themselves from the consortium coming back to sue them.

So at the end of the day, the Premier League were thinking of nothing else but saving themselves.

And they have put Newcastle, one of their member clubs, into an awful position with four months gone down the drain, and the transfer window now open.

I cannot think that if this was a more popular club in London or in the northwest of England, it would have been approved.

The Premier League has taken the dreams of Newcastle fans away.

They have done it for their own selfish interests.

They are cowards in every sense of the word.

I know a bit about managing in a tough environment and having to make some tough decisions – and I can tell you – they are most definitely cowards in that world.

The less said the better.

Time to get used to business as usual. Petitions won’t do anything. Just brace yourself for bas dost season and accept the grim truth. This is the worst time to sell NUFC. All the excuses the pl did this human rights that all mean squat. You don’t buy a business like this when it’s permanently in the fridge and you can use your money better elsewhere.

We got Mikey and Mikey got us.

Just a thought , the premier league is corrupt as we can tell this for their decision and the likes of Chelsea, Sheffield United and wolves owners to name a few.
The premier league is all about advertising.
It’s worth the banners and flags coming out for all televised matches. What about a gofundme set up for legal action against the premier league? All good media bad news stories.
