Fans Give Their Verdict On Who They Want – It’s No Contest Between These Two Left Backs

We put out a poll a week or two ago, and asked “would you bring In Danny Rose permanently as a free agent (if Spurs release him) or Jetro Willems on a season long loan?

And fans overwhelmingly want Jetro to return on loan for next season.

He is still recovering from the ACL knee injury he picked up in January against Chelsea, which ended his season, and we know the fans really rate the Dutch International.

Jetro got a massive 95% of the vote.

There’s news recently that Steve Bruce will not go after Danny Rose his summer, and maybe he can bring the 26-year-old Dutchman back in on loan.

Jetro Willems – big fan favorite

Bruce may decide to wait until January to do this, and ensure Willems has fully recovered from his serious knee injury.

But there’s no doubt Jetro has the class we are looking for at Newcastle, and he scored two great goals for us last season.

Would You Bring In Rose As Free Agent Or Willems On Season Loan This Summer?

The perfect question for a club that’s spent 13 years in limbo.

fantastic banners fantastic supporters die hards, well done lads, the league as I see it and reading all the posts are even more corrupt then I first thought, I think the other 14 clubs should have a meeting on throwing out the top 6 clubs in the league and promote 6 clubs from the championship, these top 6 clubs should be put in the lowest league in the uk and made to sell there clubs, yeah I know its far fetched but by whats been going on this is the only way I can see to straighten this whole mess out, the trust of this league is gone finished, what will our fans feel when these clubs come to st james park, I honestly think theres going to be fans outside the ground and with these banners venting there fury and no violence please but we have to do something constructive to fight this corruption or the game is gone for good its as simple as that

Anyome know anything about these two? Net worth etc?

    So far I’ve got:

Former investment bankers, have money in all sorts of places, seem to be of the right level of wealth looking at their other investments but I can’t find out how much they have exactly.

Can’t find any evidence of any dodgy history that might prevent them owning the club, either, but not really dug around yet.

They’re not Mike Ashley though so they have my full support if they come in.

So the 2 choices of LB are

    A) A player who was a cracking full back a couple of yrs ago but who now is a liability and does,nt really want to be here OR

    B) A cracking current FB who is not guaranteed to last more than half a dozen games before he gets injured but does want to be here. Hmmmm

    I`le go with Willems

we have other teams as well as ourselfs in the league just imagine how they would feel along with there fans that the league has been rigged from the start, players going into clubs thinking the could win cups, titles and they all been robbed because other clubs have had the pull of the people who run the show, thank god I never got to be a full time pro now imagine what them players are feeling when there watching all this from afar

it reads something like this if your a pro player

if you have any ambition in the game you should opt for the top 6 as if you go to the other 14 clubs you will not win bugger all as its rigged to hell and back, the whole trust is gone in the league finished over with unless theres action on sorting it out, the FA are the governing body in all this they have the power to sort this out what suprises me is they have just sat back and watched the premire league dictate the show

    Crown Prince,

I feel exactly the same as you, total frustration and anger, i hav`nt been able to settle since the takeover went down the pan and the PL should be hawled through the coals for this.
Unfortunately all our spitting and cursing will make no difference, the league has been corrupt for years and as soon as the new season kicks off it will brushed under the carpet.

    How you doing bud?

Is it bad that my first thought was “which spat”? There’s been a few of late…

£5bn is a decent wedge of cash, and assuming it’s not all tied up in other investments they’d likely be looking to expand the club substantially with that kind of wealth at their disposal.

Let’s hope there’s some truth in it, they should be easy enough to assess too so they might even be in before the season starts if they’re already making moves on the club.

I just read the exact same thing and also had a GULP moment.

Named their company after characters in a heist movie.

Apparently they love to gamble, and there’s the casino connection with Oceans 11 too, so hopefully it was that they were referring to.

I hope it doesn’t mean they’re in for a heist-job at the club.

Not that they’d get away with much. I don’t think Ashley’s left anything of value to rob.

We just need Reubens and PCP to come in directly with sponsorship from PIF and then they slowly come in as joint owners via shares. Even if only a small share to start with, can still invest as much as they like and in time increase the sare

But will Wolves be able to sustain their position, they have to hold onto their manager and players. The bigger clubs will just pick the good players up, the manager will go to bigger things, no one now will be allowed into the top six. This was our only chance. How I hate this corrupt society we live in, we don’t stand a chance.

Do you really want to put yourselves through the mix again?
I won`t , not a chance of it, its time the screw the PL and their contempt for us and shove it where the sun don`t shine.

Oh I remember the conversation, good stuff 🙂

I can’t see any reason to assume it’s fake, but I won’t hold my breath. It doesn’t sound like it’s off the ground yet even if it is genuine, but this is the sort of thing we should be hoping for I think.

And with them being gamblers I can see them chancing buying in despite the pandemic.

I’d be willing to bet that even if they aren’t interested, if Mike rang them up today and said “look lads I’ve heard you’re sniffing around. I’ll knock the asking price back to £250m if you come in straight away” they’d be tempted.
