Bruce Makes Six Changes In Our Predicted Team For Blackburn

This is the starting eleven we predict Steve Bruce will name for Blackburn tomorrow. It has six changes from the win at West Ham.

In this team, Bruce has all five new signings on the pitch at the same time. It would be debuts for Ryan Fraser and Mark Gillespie. With Karl Darlow taking the helm for league matches, Gillespie is likely to get the nod tomorrow. Bruce has already confirmed Fraser will play.

Ciaran Clark was the other Magpie Bruce stated would start during his press conference. So he teams up with Newcastle iron man Federico Fernandez at the back. Jamal Lewis gets a second straight start at left-back with Emil Krafth making his first appearance of the new season on the right.

Isaac Hayden teams up with Jeff Hendrick in the middle. Hendrick was out wide on Saturday but could get a chance to show what he’s got in his natural position. With Matty Longstaff still struggling with a thigh problem, Hayden gets the call once again.

It’ll be very interesting to see which attackers Bruce names tomorrow. He’s already said Fraser will make his debut so we have him on the right. It’s a tough call for the other three positions.

Both Sean Longstaff and Miguel Almiron didn’t start at the weekend so we have to believe Bruce will want them involved. Longstaff played his best football last season as a number 10.

Getting off to a good start will be crucial for Sean’s confidence. So we have Longstaff in the middle and Almiron out on the left. Bruce generally doesn’t play Almiron there but he did very well on the left under Rafa Benitez.

Bruce will likely rest Andy Carroll and that could also be the case for Allan Saint-Maximin. We don’t have Matt Ritchie in the team but it wouldn’t surprise us if he was involved. However, he’s had a calf problem so could be rested as well.

Up top, it’s Callum Wilson once again leaving Joelinton on the bench for a second straight match. Right now there’s just no room for the Brazilian. He’ll get his opportunity at some point but Bruce needs to field as strong a side as possible to get past Blackburn.

James. I believe Masters and Co are just puppets for the Big Six. They are all in it together greedy with no accountability. They don’t want any other club gatecrashing their tidy little cartel. They want to always get the best players and will continue to do so until they brought to task and exposed. The remaining 14 Clubs are just also rans playing for just for 17th and above – Disgraceful!
Like to see Master and Co see if they could pass a fit and proper suitability test for running the EPL. Not a cat in hell’s chance!

scott, those words are not those of Hexham Toon, they literally are a direct translation of the Arabic words on the guy’s profile.

It’s obviously a wind-up account, hiding in plain sight, if only you can read Arabic, or at least can take the time to use Google Translate.

Try it and then take it up with the account itself.

@West Lancs – Masters is for sure. Never seen a worse spokesman in my life. Bumbles and twitches through everything. Just awful.

Hoffman was hired to derail this. Even his mate Keys said so on TV, that it was his ‘number one priority to scrutinise the take-over’ When we had already passed the tests in May.

The PL listens to the top 6 and beIn Sports. And anything that doesn’t align with that has to go.

These lawyers know football law backwards. Nick knows the O&D test inside out. He even said in May of this year ‘there is no legal grounds to block this takeover.” He already knows that underhanded dealings have gone on. He will have seen the evidence and communication. He would not risk his reputation on taking on the PL unless he was 100% convinced he would win.

Of course the preferred way is a smooth, quick takeover, but part of me is enjoying the fact the PL have tied themselves up in knots and are being exposed.

When all said and done we’ll get the takeover of our dreams and crack a few eggs in the process.

The PL will know never to mess with NUFC fans again.

    RobLeenio,
Give ower ffs. He posted it, they’re his words. I can’t even be ar$ed to debate whether or not it is Jib or not. Even if it was if he’s not being offensive so be it despite his ban. Even if he is a different posted then comments like that are unacceptable and he knows it.

Spot on James. Di Marco would’nt risk his reputation if he thought he didn’t have a rock solid case.
I think Masters will resign rather than go to court to leave the rest to pick up the pieces.
I wonder what would happen if the EPL went bust as a result of all this?
    He must be bricking himself!

My heart is hoping that we eventually get this takeover, however the hell it happens, but my head can`t accept that ashley is doing this for his own personal gain, i really do hope i am wrong.

Ashley’s personal gain is the sale of Newcastle United. Buyer, seller and fans alike – our desires are aligned and only a corrupt PL are blocking it.

Ben Jacobs saying that a prem source told him that not all directors passed the o&d test, rumayyan being one.
If the prem had not rejected the bid then surely nda,’s are still in effect and the prem have flooked up again.

Masters won’t escape a court appearance by resigning, if he’s called he’ll have to appear ,
his only get out of jail card is an out of court settlement, which i think would suit both parties,

I think the PL are trying to shift the goalposts by leaking stuff to trusted journos , Ben Jacobs has links to Qatar , best advice to Masters and co , when in a hole stop digging.

As Hexhamtoon-Jiblets would say after discovering the likely derivation of ‘fizzog’, the source of the WSJ leak and much much more past and to come:

‘Eeeh, what wud a dee withoot Google eh? It dusn’t half myek is lyuk clivor’

What Google can’t tell them though is how a twice-bannned poster has the nerve to undermine The Blog’s owner and post again under another name.

    Narcissism comes to mind
